Your dad designed all of these models? That’s amazing.

Awesome! I went to two of the Mad Model Party events in Pasadena as well and saw some of your dad's stuff there. Had to have the Dracula kit as soon as I laid eyes on it. Ended up purchasing it from Creature Features in Burbank not too long after. I thought it was the best likeness of Dracula in kit form, aside from the Billiken version, and still do. I also purchased the Frankenstein kit you have displayed there. Another great kit with a spot on likeness. Unfortunately, we had a 7.0 earthquake here a few years ago and they both were damaged. Dracula was semi salvageable but Frankenstein, not so much. I remember meeting Tom Gilliland at Kit Kraft in Studio City...heck of nice guy too. Thanks for posting this...fond memories of a time gone by.

Love this video! I saw all of those kits sculpted by Pat back in the 90's at Wonderfest in KY. Really was mind blowing at the time. I was in my early 30's. Never seen anything like it before. Terry at Monsters in Motion had a HUGE display for many years. It truly was a GOLDEN AGE in the garage kit hobby. I have purchased a few of those kits too. I agree with you too. Keep prodding your Dad to sculpt some more kits. His work has always been magic.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, believe it or not Terry actually still sells a lot of his kits on his online store. I believe they recently unearthed the Frankenstein and little girl kit which is cool! Hopefully eventually he'll make a couple more in the future, they just don't make them like they used to.
