I agree with that bullfighter piece at 12:48. I can't tell you how many times I stitched and unstitched this part. I was never satisfied how it looked.

Thank you! I do my best, but with something so chaotic I'm sure there's bound to be something that slips past me lol.

@@thepatcave1 i had gotten a matador, but i missed the sizing and i got a massive one LOL😂 but i still made it work. if it were a replica of the movie i would care more. but i stayed up till about 4 just sewing some of the small patches on. seeing it come together as i add all the pieces gives me more of a sense of direction of where i want to go with it. if you ever want to control some fraying i recommend the gorilla fabric glue. i like mine to look worn, but i dont want this thing to slowly unravel to shreds

If you dont have a walking foot for your machine that would help sewing thicker fabrics, it lets you get a lot thicker stuff under the foot and it helps it not get stuck when sewing.
I love this project, I would never have the patience to collect all the patches and tapestries for a screen accurate replica.

I just looked it, up, that would help tremendously! I wish I’d known sooner, it’s been challenging learning how to use it. I still need to do the rear pieces sewn on too so I’ll try and get one of those to help. Thanks for the tip! Glad you’re enjoying the videos.
