For the delee you put the very thin tube down their throat, not all the way to the stomach and you put the larger tube in your mouth. Use consistent suction to pull fluids out of their airways.
Yes you can get velcro collars but please be very careful. Some velcro collars are very stiff and sharp on the edges. I have seen several puppies who have been cut on their shoulders by these collars.
@@EmsGoldens These ones are quite soft and they'll only be on for whelping. Once the 9 are out, clean, and dry, I have matching nail polish for them. I have no idea how I'm going to keep them straight though because this line of yellow labs are very cookie cutter. Can hardly wait for May 20th.
14:45 why not use Oral Cal Plus the recommended dose age for the dogs weight which is pre measured on the container? Per recommended by Breeders Edge? Pea size would be for a chiuahua. Tums & Ice cream need to be digested, Oral Cal Puls is absorbed through the gums, much easier to administer.
@@npaverico I usually put a little. Of it on the puppies back just above their tail. One time I had two litters that were only 2 days apart and one litter got it on their shoulders the other on the base of the tail. That way I could use the same color just in different locations for both litters.
Looking forward to beautiful Bliss’s litter! You are so well prepared. Praying it all goes easily for you both 💖

You take such great care of your girls, I enjoy watching all your video posts. And the Bible verses, too 😊 ❤

Amazon sells color coded velcro collars. You can write on them with a sharpie (birth time and weight etc). Cheap as borscht.
