  • The life story of the great philosopher and poet Rumi.
    Jalāl ad-Dīn Mohammad Rūmī (Persian: جلال‌الدین محمد رومی‎), also known as Jalāl ad-Dīn Mohammad Balkhī (جلال‌الدین محمد بلخى), Mevlânâ/Mowlānā (مولانا, "our master"), Mevlevî/Mawlawī (مولوی, "my master"), and more popularly simply as Rumi (30 September 1207 - 17 December 1273), was a 13th-century Persian poet.

    Shahryar, trust me this is not the time for sufism, dervishi or other Islamic mysticism. We have to put our hopes in this world, build, create and make life easier and more enjoyable for our fellow man. Why such a need to believe in super-natural phenomenons. Please don't glorify rumi's life.

      With all due respect my friend, Rumi has nothing to do with any supernatural, religious beliefs… or whatsoever! His teachings are all about love and unity!

      He was very much a devout muslim, praying 5 times a day, fast during Ramadan etc.
      Self deception is not going to get us out of this religious mess.
