Maytag Fridge Warm, Freezer Cold

Turns out my fridge was left open all night, and the coil in the freezer iced up. I had to take a hair dryer to it. This video is a good explanation of how a fridge works (I had no idea!). When the fridge is left open, the cooling mechanism runs non-stop trying to get the temp down. If the compressor is running non-stop, it doesn't give the coils a chance to defrost, and ice builds up. You'd think ice on the coils was great, but then it won't allow air to pass through the coil (radiator) and get super cooled. I also taped a 2' piece of copper pipe to my vacuum hose so I could reach the coils under the fridge. #warmfridge
