    Dear Alexa. My prayers are with you. Having a partial right nephrectomy for a 3.5 cm cancer last February, I can tell you that the most important thing is what you say in your video. Keeping positive attitude and everything will go well. God bless you.

    Wishing you the very best! As a two time cancer survivor I immediately wonder why a PET scan wasn’t ordered at the early stages. Blessings for your supportive hubby!

    I have almost the exact same story as yours, only mine was asymptomatic and they found it accidentally.. Same stage, same type, right kidney. It happened to me at age 28. Thanks for sharing your story. I am so glad you are okay!❤

    My family doctor spent a year doing tests and telling me that I didn't have cancer.
    This gave my bladder cancer a whole year headstart. If you think something is wrong, skip the family doctor and see a specialist!

    A local anaesthetic is usually applied as the procedure is normally very quick and anaesthetic always a good thing to have

    They found a solid mass with a proliferative appearance in my right kidney on an abdominal ultrasound, it measures 3.4 x 2.5 cm and shows no flow on color Doppler, all my other laboratory tests came out good, blood, urine, liver profile, lipid profile, blood creatinine, my only symptom is pain on my right side that I attributed to my osteoarthritis, I have an appointment with the doctor on Saturday and I have the results of a CT scan that the urologist requested so he can tell me the bad news.

    Does anyone know why they don't put people asleep to take biopsies?

    • @josephine1009
      @josephine1009 5 днів тому +5

      anesthesia is always a risk, so you don't get one unless it's absolutely necessary

      @josephine1009 oh..i figured it would be worth it, I watched many of these cancer stories and it seems one of the most painful parts..hopefully they find something that helps🧡

      Not sure, unless it depends on what part of your body they do it. But my sister had 2 done, on her lungs, and kidney, they put her asleep with both of them.

    How did you know you had blood in your urine? Was it a dark, coffee colored or streaked or spotted with blood?
