Yes, the siding track was just put down a couple months ago and the main hasn't been serviced in years. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes before they derail with these new heavy cars.
So do they drop off the cars and then run around the train up by the old Leominster yard? Also, how did you get to the vantage point for the video? Is it easy to reach or does it require a hike? Sorry for so many questions, just curious as I’d like to see the new customer.
Yes, they drop the cars off then work Teknor Apex (the plastics plant between here and the yard) before running around their train and heading back south. The spot I shot most of this video is easily accesible, just follow the National Grid access road between Fraticelli Oil and CubeSmart Storage to get to the tracks :)
Great catch with those brand new gondolas!
Thanks Derek!
Glad csx is getting new customers in Massachusetts.
Me too!
Boy the siding looks in better shape than the main track does
.I see lots of busted ties I'm surprised they don't have more derailments going on .

Another great video!! 👍
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I wonder how long it will be before those nice clean cars get some artwork? ;) Nice video!
Thanks Sidney
Where’s the transfer station? I heard they were thinking about building one a few years ago but haven’t been able to find much info on it
It's on Tanzio Rd. in Leominster.
are other CSX trains besides the C40-8s and pan am are in service in Massachusetts?

Damn still has the Chessie rock plow
Great that the RR got a new customer, but I guess garbage is big in Massachusetts. Garbage!!???????
That's half of what gets moved here nowadays!
Where's the runaround track up there?
Right behind Hannaford in Leominster.
Thanks.. what frequency you listening too ? or list of freq ?
I believe the CSX local frequency is 161.07000. Here's a list of all the Massachusetts frequencies: www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?aid=9099
what does the T stand for after CSX? ik what CSX stand for
Transportation.
You need to do a idle video of 6152
If you'd like to see one I actually got some great recordings of it idling while taking this video. I'll post it soon!
IsaiahsTrains plz do!!
