I've been teaching bartenders to make the Gin Rickey for about ten years. I may be responsible for it's comeback as I've only had one who knew what it was. The lime juice is from fresh squeezed lime, not Rose's lime juice. There is a taste difference.
Those drinks Long Island Ice Tea are just kid drinks to get drunk. Anything served in a pitcher. Harvey Wallbangers, Screwdrivers, etc. The girly drinks of the 70’s were just as bad. Sloe gin fizz & tequila sunrises.
Which of these drinks would you like to see make a comeback the most?
French 75 - I love this drink and usually only find it in the UK. But was surprised and pleased to find it in Raleigh NC
I Really like the way that you're explaining how to make these drinks. I would like to see more of this. 👏🏾👏🏾
They all sound great. My dad (RIP) used to make Brandy Alexander’s, I haven’t had one for quite a while 🙁

Isnt it just a gin and tonic ?
@@KNGSLYR1669 No Tonic. Tonic is a sweetened water, carbonated and containing Quinine, totally different. This has no sugar.
French 75s are awesome. You can make a cheaper version by substitution prosecco, sekt or cava for the champagne.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My Dad would always make Brandy Alexander’s with vanilla ice cream for my mom & Nan at Thanksgiving & Christmas

Yeah gin sodas desperately need to make a come back, as if it's not already a top popular cocktail.
