Twice Is my favorite villains in all of anime. His Entire story And his condition is in such a really good character That likeable, believable, and Relatable all at the same time. him saying “we are all just wackos, looking for a place we belong.” Hit me hard every time

I'm the type of person who rarely cries at media, yet the death of Twice, a villain, got me to shed a tear. It hit me as nearly hard as something like Iron Man's death. Amazing writing!

@@-nav-398 I mean, there is plenty of people who said that when he was introduced and I'm french, so I know Tintin very well since my childhood ^^' (with both the comics and the cartoon).
@@spadeas49 I never was really involved in anime communities so I didn't get to experience the kind of collective reaction. But it is so cool to see influences like Tintin passed on and carried around for other people to discover.

I really love this episode since it shows the villians in a different light. Like our world some people just fall in-between the cracks never getting the help they need. Twice is a great character because he draws parallels to criminals with mental illness who's lives get ruined just because they try to find companionship in the wrong people.
Why I'm a big advocate to try treat criminals as people who need help than lesser villains that needs punishment, and glad my country does it. See so many that wants someone to suffer for doing something horrible, but never know what actually led them to do it.
We're blind to it, we're the ones who never get to see someone like's Twice's perspective or backstory, and it's been proven that in general it's due to poor environment, mental illnesses or anything else that could ruin one's life that leads to being a criminal, where getting help will do way more to turn them around than making them suffer more.
Alicia finally meets one of the greatest characters in the entire show.

Twice’s backstory is some heavy stuff. No wonder he’s dissociative as a result. Wonder how he would’ve turned out with a bit more direction in his life
13:42 Fun facts: Tsunuri Pony is an exchange student from UA America and a huge fan of All Might,He was the US's Number One Hero for 35 years, so an entire generation grew up with him, She owns a lot of exclusive All Might merchandise from America and occasionally gifts duplicates to Deku, as mentioned in the second novel of My Hero Academia. In another detail from the same novel, during the camp (seen at the beginning of this season), the girls had a sleepover to discuss who the best guy was. They all agreed it was Todoroki. They also found Deku attractive and a capable hero, but deducted points due to his obsession with All Might and heroes in general. Uraraka wanted to defend him but was afraid of revealing her crush, so she stayed quiet. On the other hand, Pony defended him since she's also an All Might fan 😆.
So, fun fact? That guy Overhaul ('the birb') has the same dub voice as the Boss from Jojo's Part 5 (Kellen Goff). You'll see why that's particularly interesting later on.

Lots of new characters being introduced!, all very fun. Also Twice's backstory is dark but really interesting. Things are getting good. Thanks for the video!
Now that you're gotten to Twice's backstory, keep it in mind when thinking about the other villains as well. Sure, some people are just selfish but there's a point to be made about the treatment of those "left behind" or who don't fit in.
Sure, there's plenty of people who are just greedy, but quite of few of the villains only ever wanted to be accepted for who they were.

i believe there's a head canon that Denki (electric boy) is Autistic or has ADHD or something and does grab Ojiro's (Tailman's) tail as a sort of comfort thing (which i also believe Ojiro understands and accepts), i think he's done it a few times during the series

i already commented here but oh my god OVERHAUL(bird mask guy) , you are not ready for season 4, that guy is not what you expect (although i do agree - i like his character design very much )
Twice is basically Spider-Man after his Clone Saga. A villain made clones of him with all the same memories, one seemingly died in the fight but Peter couldn’t tell if he was the real one.
It turned he was the original and two of the clones that lived became his brothers.
Its that boy Tintin/Vault Boy
Part of this story a lot of people miss, is that heroes can't save everybody - but they should try. Some heroes don't try. Some people get missed by the ones who DO try. And people refuse to see anything beyond their own viewpoint. And that conflict drives most of the villains in this story, from Shigaraki Tomura to Toga Himiko. And it was touched on in the bit with Twice at the start.
Guys, she's keeping to pinpoint the turning points. I won't say what points it is. Those who know will understand.
She finally met Mirio aka Tintin aka Vault Boy aka Mr. Willie.
Twice, the man who just wanted to be a part of something he cared about. you haven't seen much from him yet, but i personally believe that he is one of the most important characters in the entire series.
also if she thinks Arm-Blaster McGee over here is the most American thing in the show, she's gonna have a BLAST later on XD
So a fun fact about the phasing blonde haired guy, his design was based off of tintin!
The face of the guy in the wall reminded me of the cartoon The Adventures of Tintin. I mean the animated film , not modern 3D.

The longer you watch i promise you twice will end up one of your favorite characters in the entire show
This was a major step in antagonist characterization. Sure, Shiggy has grown more complex and mature, but this took Twice from annoying deadpool knockoff in his mannerisms to the most sympathetic of the League.
To say nothing of how the worldbuilding is aided in showing the neglected underbelly in this episode.
