When you finish recording. The audio file isn’t sent to that same channel. It defaults to being sent to the master track after it it recorded. Then you can pick what channel to send the audio to. I’ll usually record on one channel and then later mix on another one.
A good video but it couldn't help me.. How can I record among one another? When I press record I start in Track one, but when I stop the recording and press record again I record in the same track (side by side). How can I fix that? I want to record every take among each other.
When i try to record under a vocal recording it brings my next recording along with a new track at the bottom of the project so there’s too much space between my vocals recordings do someone know how to fix that?
If you CTRL + left click on it to highlight the clip in red. You can then hold down Shift + up arrow to bring the audio clip further up the playlist to where you want it to be.
Glad it helped you out! I didn't know about that trick for a long time, and I would get so frustrated with trying to keep everything lined up the right way!
It's a little different for piano roll. You could record one take on one pattern. Then you could mute that pattern. Create a new blank pattern to record to, and repeat until you get the right amount of takes. Just mute each pattern between takes. Should work pretty similarly. And you should be able to consolidate it down into one take later on.
This was very helpful. not a lot of actual live working been shown these days, Always good to learn something new in FL Studio. Thanks.
Thanks Norman, glad it helped you out. Let me know if there is anything specific you would like me to do a video on!
Hey! Amazing video, i was wondering how do you record in fl to the same channel without the recording picking up everything else on the channel?

@@ProductionDen Hey Jeremy. I will use your technique at a later time. Currently producing a video for client. 👍
Hey buddy! How do I record in fl studio using mic and plug in acoustic guitar ❤️
Wow -- needed that. Does the same small section recording work for piano roll the same as it does for mic recording?

Thank you so much
Sure will
Fl studio is not fiture comping take record.....iam sad😔
I think your songs would be better with a faster tempo. That 80 bpm is way so slow in my opinion.
