Things we have to do before getting to the last step

3. Log into the 2nd account using the 2nd controller, it should automatically go back to the first account after. If not just switch to the 1st account manually, the 1st account has to be the host for this to work.

The primary player gets everything. So if you guys wanted to share the rewards he'll have to join your game.

You may have to make sure both accounts used are already linked to Fortnite. Meaning you already went through the process of creating an Epic Games account or signing into Epic Games in order to play the game on both accounts. For example, if you've or someone else played Fortnite before on the main account but no one has never played Fortnite on the second one... my educated guess is this would most likely cause the issue you're having.

There's team battle royals where you two can play together. Only game modes you can't play together are the non-traditional ones like the creative ones.

Here's a checklist of things that's needed I hope helps. If all three are done this should work.
1. Make sure the 2nd account you'll use already has a Fortnite account or Epic account already set up (so basically the 2nd account should already have it's on username and password already set up. The game doesn't gives us one automatically so we have to manually set up the account)
