I don't think your kids enjoyed this high-priced kaiseki meal, judging from their bored looks - better a buffet for greater choices and more substantial for them perhaps just to experience this meal. Also, I think the chef should use sets of utensils (mother of pearl spoon with gilt-edged chopsticks, perhaps?) to top-up the garnishes instead of using gloves for a touch of elegance. Good vlog with explanations during this meal, cheers!

Owen said he loved some of the dishes.
I think it's good to let them experience all the food they can.
