Salamat China : From Philippines.
It’s very sad. All the people lost their homes
Im near the volcano im from mataas na kahoy batangas luckily we survived and our house was still ok
Just went to Tagaytay this Saturday... everything seems fine to me
Living in the shade of a active volcano has it moments
Wish everyone will live in prosperity.
That will never happen
@@joj4096
It just might
@@joj4096 i wouldn't say Impossible, bit highly unlikely
@@takayanagi-senseissurprise2104
Be realistic guys how can you prosper when the population is growing 50+ developing countries
time flies so fast
Im sad 😞
This is my home country
Oh! I remember being with my family eating out at that time, we we're just going home when one of my family member told us to wear a mask because of the ashes that reached in the city, at I was not thinking too deeply bout it until we watched the news once we got home. It was really terrifying.
I remember this happening and holy moly it was so ashy outside
I feel so bad for the people who lived near the erupted volcano
Yup, i was there at the philippines because i live in the philippines
I remember my friend kept a bottle full of ashes from the volcano and the next thing he knows is his hands is bright red.
why?
@@d.vldymyr3381 Volcanic ashes may contain toxic chemicals that can possibly irritate or harm human skin
@@NotKiiro yeah but im confused why it was bright red, i thought his hand is glowing red lol
@@d.vldymyr3381 Yeah I think bright red is the wrong term to use here lol. But they probably just meant it was red af
Give it 3 to 5 years. The land will be agricultural shangrila.
that'll take a long while, my guy
*the govt shouldn't allowed locals to return there whatsoever*
bruh just clean the place
(not literally an idea... i know it will be hard to do that)
@@ANSwer_this_nerd they can't start the clearing or cleaning because taal is still angry
@@aturfhee.3727 i know. that's why i said cleaning it will be hard.
Ang ganda
O-o
This was actually very scary because we were on the road when this happened it was almost 0 visibility
This land is now pure
The island was full of grasses now it's full of dusk
This isn't even an Island anymore.
It kind of still is. Only that it's barren and dead for the time being
I live in Lipa, near Taal and my relatives had to stay at our house for a month coz of the eruption.
The place looks depressing to look at.
This is where some people went missing and horses that couldn't be rescued and left buried alive. 😔
Never heard of horses living in provinces at all. Or am i just the ignorant here? Anyway what happened to them and how are they?
@@arlynnecumberbatch1056 ya horses wee used to climb the volcano i think
Its an island in the lake, thats why when the volcano did some unexpected seismic activities, they didn’t have time to rescue the animals and prioritized the citizens first
@@arlynnecumberbatch1056 They're used for the tourist to ride around into the volcano
I feel bad for the families and property owners who spend their lives and rely on living via tourism and fishing in the lake. Most of them lost so much last yr and were probly stranded bc right after this was the lockdown. I hope they get help and new opportunities
Hence when the volcano erupted that was also when covid 19 started spreading and the government since then have tried they're Best to help the evacuees but they also focussed on the virus so it was quite hard for them and as a filipino i wish i can help in the future
So hopeless in my hometown, Calamba, Laguna 01/12/2020
Will this just naturally clean itself or it needs heavy equipment to remove those mountains of ashes?
I think it stays or something since its hard
It'll naturally clean itself. It's nature, it doesn't need humans to keep itself in order.
Muito lindo isso
Wdym it's destroyed my favourite place gone
How long does it take trees and vegetation to start to grow, etc?
I still can't believe that this volcano errupted. It's been sleeping for quite a while and it's erruption was very sudden. Hope it doesn't happen this year again- stay safe mga kapamilya!
Edit:
*Why're people saying jokes about how it looks like a planet?* I mean, I can agree but like- *how're you joking about that now?* 👁👁💀
Those aren't jokes. They're opinions. They think it looks like a planet or atleast, A different planet. It's like saying what I think about your face. It looks like a volcano (this is an example btw, don't take it seriously.) And yeah, It's not sudden. Volcanoes can erupt at any time. So you can't blame a volcano for doing what it will do.
Fun fact; this island is in a lake which is inside a island Wich is inside the ocean
And there is a island, in a lake is this island and the island is in a lake in a another island ....
I wonder how the two big typhoons went on that makeshift tent..
it looks like blade runner 2049
Why they still live in a tent..its been a year??
Life is hard especially if you were in poverty even before the eruption. Followed by the pandemic which is just one problem after the other. 2020 has been a very slow and unrpoductive year for a lot of people.
its hard to live and get a job in the philipines due to jobs being full cause of over population
Over population and poverty ;-;
I visited the island a month before eruption.
Living on that island can be very hazardous, it would be best to permanently implement a no habitat/no build zone policy given that more volcanic activities will take place in the future.
PARK SHOULD BE OFF LIMITS TO SQUATTERS.
LACK OF DISCIPLINE CAUSE DEATH TO THOSE UNDISCIPLINED FILIPINOS USING THE ISLAND AS THEIR RESIDENCES.
THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES SHOULD ENFORCE THE LAW
GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ARE THE ROLE MODELS OF EVERY CITIZENS FOR LACK OF DISCIPLINE.
Here we go again...
Fallout 4 in real life........
The Volcanic Lightning was beautiful, but the cause of the volcano erupting affected many people to leave their beautiful home.
Imagine the crops tho
I saw it by myself an it's true that Taal volcano is still covered in thick ashes
I remembered this we filipinos from nearby community wear face mask before pandemic so when pandemic came the face mask are out of stock. I still remember seeing ashes and dark clouds going outside and still need to go to school. I thought it was the worst thing can happen in 2020 but no... Because before that there are also things happening in other places like the Amazon is burning and australia wild fire... Okay i thought 2019 is worst but no....
These poor families are not given enough attention. By now they should be living way easier lives than they had last year. What has the government been doing?!
Got to visit tagaytay in December 2020 and I thought what I saw was a greener island
I swear we have terrible goverments
You can't blame the government for a natural disaster, plus all the budget is used for the pandemic so not all problems can be solved at once.
Wow. It has been a year already. It felt like yesterday when we all thought the world was ending
I'm here because taal is erupting again
Wow when it erupted it was 2 days after my bday
