Purushaartha Kaashtai 2 - Bhaagavatha Kainkaryam

Svami outlines why we should do bhaagavatha kainkaryam.
Unlike Nityasuris, we cannot directly know His thiruvullam and have jnana sankocham. So, He as given us saastraas like kai vilakku, to guide us. We will get svaabhimatha purushaartham if we do by sastraas (much like a cricketeer who plays well and by the rules even in the losing team). He is happy when we do subha kaaryam and He celebrates us as if we are the udhaaran (because we help Him to get the name that he gives all purushaarthams).
If we analyze the saastraas, we can see that of all kainkaryams, bhaagavatha kainkaryam is the one that is most abhimatham to Him.
Sribhaashyakaararin's upadesam itself shows bhagavath kainakraym in all the kainkaryams - 1) Sri Bhaashyam which describes His gunams, is to be acquired from bhaagavathas and passed on to other bhaagavthaas, benefiting them. 2) Arulicheyal pravarthanam which describes His neermai, and its pravarpitthal will make bhaagavthaas do saraanagathi. 3) amudhupadi at divya desams and distribution of annam that has been blessed by Him will give aahaara suddhi and sattva vriddhi to bhaagavthaas. 4) dvayam arthaanusandhaanam - by that, all in that town will get nalla buddhi and become bhaagyavaan 5) serving at the feet of bhaagavathan is directly and fully bhaagavatha kainkaryam only.
