This spending bill is the perfect example of what's wrong with the system. Spending for Ukraine or Israel as stand alone bills wouldn't get passed, but bundling them together does get passed. The system works to maximize screwing us over. Rather than filtering out bad stuff it just makes it bigger and worse.

I haven't had cable since 2018. I can't watch TV anymore. It's become so obvious how fake it all is. The shows, the news, the commercials... It really is television "programming".
I left cable in 2005. By 2010, everyone thought I was crazy, because they would tell me what happened on the news and I would think it sounded fake.

Think about how much time we've all spent watching a simulated version of life via TV shows and movies. The effects can't be good.
I have never had cable or internet in home everything that was free or a courtesy is now a price.
