Social media is a digital technology that allows us to share information whether our private network or to public. It also enables us to share our life events, helps us to easily reconnect with old friends, long lost relatives and even create new connections.
Nowadays, the use of social media becomes more than sharing information. Businesses are utilizing it, individual can now earn from it. It becomes a platform that we can learn from the information being shared.
The more people that are using social media, the more that we are exposed on its harm...exposure to contents that are not age appropriate, cyberbullying, social anxiety, disinformation, depression.
In this episode, we discussed the benefits, positive effects, its harm and how it is being used these days.
