Kid: "I like it cause it has raspberries! ☺️"
@@peachyrings1112 You do know this is a joke, right? 😂
Purrtel Gacha they still said the kids were pastry experts, it was a different point in time then when they said the pastry chefs were there too. One was the chef talking and the other was one of the contestants. So like karma always does, your attempt at smug condescension just blew up in your face. All over a sweet little comment? Be nicer to people. Have a great day.

I think Barrie should’ve gotten to the final. He had quality across all his desserts and had the only desserts the judges had no complaints for
1000herecomesthepain he had one with the shortcakes where the inside had a hole
I didn't watch the whole show but I know that the person in the finale should look and feel like a winner - usually young, quite slim, good looking and with a strong personality and a story to tell (take Beccy from season 5). Also, up until season 5 there were 3 male and 2 female champions and from a gender equality standpoint the number of both sex's winners should be more or less the same (or female champions should be dominant). It is quite unfortunate when you look at it and see great cooks go home because they don't exactly embody this ideal, but it's still television and a kind of reality show after all.
Beccy wasn't good looking...
@@nataliamazurkiewicz4879 Exactly. There are times when you watch the first episode and you just have a sense of whose gonna win it. For example, we all know David was gonna win Season 2 from pretty early, because he is as Canadian as a man can get. This is why people complain MC Canada being too scripted. However, I like it better, because there was no drama, no racism, no stupid side problems we know that shouldn't belong in the world of cooking.
I feel like Barry and Trevor should’ve moved on to the next round

Is chess really monumental?
We all know that it should have been a Trevor vs Barry finale.
Maxim Kik Yeah, you don’t have to be a chef to know who’s the consistent and better cook.
A man of culture yeah man, hell, you dont even have to be there!
Yeah, but Barry didn't know how to cry on cue. It's a very important skill to have as an actor.
Oh wait, they're meant to be chefs, not actors, crying on cue isn't a needed quality for that, so yeah, I agree.
Obi-Wan vs Anakin: the Master vs the Apprentice
I wish it was Barrie vs Mai because Mai was my favorite and she came in 4th but trevor was also very good. I wanted Mai to win so badddlyyyyyy
The kids were a good plot twist- if they had gone with matcha or something that most adults like but lots of kids hate, that would definitely throw them off! Teaches them to make flavors that appeal to everyone I guess 😂
Lydia C. I disagree. I feel it forces the chefs to play it really safe and use generic, even boring flavours or items. I wouldnt mind having challenges specifically targeted towards kids, seniors, or other demographics though. Though I hope in that case, I hope the main demographic are the main judges (I saw in another baking show where they make desserts for kids and the show’s normal judges complained it was too sweet. Despite the kids liking it)
It's the same with movies. Makng writers and directors accommodate younger viewers pushes their work to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
@@hanatemonstas4485 but the cooks werent informed about the kids when they were cooking so they prepared their best. So yeah it is a great plot twist. But you are right. If they were informed earlier all of the dishes would have been unoriginal.
It should’ve been Barry and Trevor in the finale
Thu Ngoc Nguyen doesn’t really matter cuz either way Trevor would have won he was the best chef
also barry messed up his advantage by hardly cooking the wagyu beef like it was raw so thea got into the finale
Ye they were beat buds the whole competition

I have to admit that Canadians are really sweet and good people
Said it many times before, MC Canada is the best by a long shot. No BS gimmicks, professional attitudes and the judges are magnificent
MC Australia is way better, in my opinion. It's all about cooking.

Josh Baker I heard that too. What did she say 🤔
MrsC V I think she said healthy meal hahah
No it was heavy meal
And what was the result? Did they upload?
That was by far the best challenge ever
Chefs the judges got the best job ever. They just stand criticise and get served gold on a plate.
I would pick lemon lavender cake and chocolate tart from Thea's patisserie, chocolate bars and passion fruit cup from barris's patisserie , pink pepper corn truffles and coffee creme brulee from Trevor's patisserie
Trevor is the best home cook through all seasons of MasterChef Canada so far
David I would say
David for me
It has to be David
Nah it's my boi david
Nah David was too strong, every episode he was in the top tor something. Whether it was elimination or mystery box
I like how they could easily just say they gotta make some desserts cause they feel like it and then the contestants make them world class food 😂
The BEST episode I have ever seen
And “I NEED A PIECE “😍😍😍
Like shokugeki no souma when they got in all the normal people as judges for their test :D
