@@MarioBarretta thanks for the reply. I was on hold for quite a while but when i did speak to a rep, they issues a new certificate and its working again. I hope I don't have to do this every two weeks!
Please help. Squarespace is wanting me to rewrite AAAA numbers (Current data) into an IP number (requested data). As you know you cant rewrite that. My provided just says that it needs to be in the format for AAAA which is for ipv6. I am so confused by this. I dont know what to do. I fixed all the other issues but this keeps shining red at me.
I am newly learning domains and ssl. Can someone please tell, is the ssl coming with squarespace only for default squarespace websites? If i have my server hosted on ec2 and mapped its ip to my domain in squarespace, can I get and use the ssl provided by squarespace, to setup https in my ec2 server jar?
I've had a lingering red alert that my domain is not authenticated, despite having domain with green connected notice and an issued SSL cert. What can I do to make sure domain is authenticated and doesn't show as spam?
Thanks for the super helpful video!! Squarespace changed their DNS settings page, so there's no more green and red, just the records themselves... Hopefully my issue will be something else because I can't tell from the new page if there's anything wrong with the records or not!
Thank you! This is getting me closer!, But can you tell me, are the CNAME and A records the same for everyone? Meaning, can I use those exact lines of data for my own site, or are they specifically for your site alone? I changed my A records to what you show on your screen, and I am still down. I am about to do the CNAME changes and see what happens. O_O-
I actually FINALLY figured it out. It’s an issue with my provider (XFinity). With Advanced Security setting enabled (which they instruct you to do during router setup), the network identified my website as suspicious for fraud or phishing activity because it’s my website is my full name and is also my gmail address. So it was pretty much giving just me the error (and some people that I email with a lot). I think I’ll have to change the website name to completely resolve it.
What does it mean if SSL is active in the Admin panel and the website shows with https but in Google search results it shows as HTTP?
You helped a lot thank you!
let's go!
I have a squarespace domain but my website is on Square. The security warning is only happening when using Firefox. How can I fix this?

Hey! It looks like the text underneath the domain will either be green, red, or gray! :)
Thank you! I appreciate the help.
