Can totally relate . My husband has just gone back to the office after 2 years !!!! I love him dearly but man I’m so pleased I don’t have to listen to him talk all day . The peace and quiet is heaven . 🤣
Ground turkey, rice, oatmeal, blueberries, sweet potatoes, peas - every 2 weeks we prep and freeze for the king of the house! Started doing this as a pandemic hobby and it became a great habit.
The BV outfit is a keeper! It’s fun and different! The shoes are amazing as well!! You can always hem the legs to shorten if you want later on!! Fantastic vlog!!! Great escape from my cray day!! 🥰❤️🐇
The Bottega Venetta outfit is EVERYTHING! those Pumps are super well made indeed & are very flattering! Never underestimate a v-shape opening at the top of the opening to avoid having to break them in, or dealing with the shoe cutting ur foot everytime you take a step. Brilliant design. ALSO, the outfit is missing pockets but I guess that something you could add on later 😉 but I like this a lot! Looking great Michele!

You have a great eye. If I saw that Bottega playsuit on a hanger, I probably wouldn't have given it a second look, but it really suits you. I love pieces like that that are unusual, slightly edgy, but not unflattering or over the top crazy.

That Dior coat was everything! Of course the best part was to see miss butters and how cute she looked. I have used that same food when I had a dog, and she loved it. It’s ok to cook in the beginning, but it gets old real quick. Super pr haul and you look gorgeous in the vlog !! Love ya ♥️♥️

I got the Byredo Flor Kalahari palette yesterday.. it is STUNNING… it’s not only an eyeshadow palette but I use several of the shades in there for cheeks as well.. so beautiful.. and the formula is sophisticated and great for mature eyelids. This is a warm to neutral lovers dream palette..
PS: I cook for my pugs, too. Yep, they are spoiled..
Hey Michele - I'm a dog and cat nutritionist (not in the US though) and the diet you're currently feeding is lacking in some essential vitamins and minerals (A, D, calcium quite obviously without me knowing anything more from just having seen what you're feeding, but I think it's quite low in C and E too).
I think Zak George the dog trainer on UA-cam buys in a fresh food that's made specifically for the dog that would probably suit quite well. There are also dog nutritionists in the US like me that will formulate diets specifically for your pet and do all the boring calculations to make sure it is 👌 - Oh! And Miss Butters would be less anxious or calmer because the diet you're feeding is higher in tryptophan compared to dry/commerical foods 👍 science for the win!
That little Bottega jumpsuit is so cute! You can totally get away with how it looks right off the rack. Your insecurities with it are not visible to us I assure you so you can relax. But to make it more comfy in the future I’d just take it to a tailor to make it specifically for your body and that’ll put you more at ease with it. That piece is fantastic though. Oddly timeless which I feel like you wouldn’t expect with something so niche.

I had to start cooking my Jack Russells food. We lost her last year at the age of almost 22.
I cooked ground chicken, ground turkey and added blueberries or cranberries, frozen peas and carrots, eggs and powdered calcium. She did great on it and loved it.
How amazing that you were able to have your pup with you for so long . So sorry for your loss but you obviously gave her an amazing life ❤️ Tell me about the powdered calcium - was it from the vet or something you could buy ? We are cooking for our 14 year old Lhasa Cavalier mix.

I love the Bottega, I think having the sleeves tailored from the shoulders (to retain the cuff detail) and slightly shortening the leg, would make it even more gorgeous.

I buy the huge warehouse-sized bags of chicken breast for my dogs. They won't eat their kibble without it. I boil the chicken and store it in smaller bags in my freezer. I also boil sweet potatoes and add it with the chicken to their food. They don't have as many tummy issues since I started doing that for them.

We used to make soup for our dogs full of veggies and some meat, sometimes some rice in there too. They seemed to love it more than dog food.

I was so surprised you were able to film at the Dior exhibit - and happy that you could. I went to the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum a couple of years ago and wasn't allowed to take pictures. Yeah, I snuck a few but not many.
Right before you said it I was like "You can't use those lipsticks from Dior" then I cracked up when you said it. Such a beautiful gift.

That Dior jacket is fantastic and it looks perfect on you. I love it! And the BV outfit is so unique, definitely a keeper. But I totally feel you on the pocket situation. I just love how different it is. I love simple, classic styles with a twist and this definitely fits the bill. I type this as I lounge in my Nap oversized cashmere cardigan (with pockets) that you recommended. It’s now a favorite!

That Bottega belted trench shorts situation is cute and would look horrible on me. Yeah I think it just needs to be hemmed a bit. That Dior field looking cameo jacket is a great find. My husband is really into pens and stationery so we’ll need to check out Yoseka when we meet up with friend in Brooklyn next month. You are giving me great ideas for my trip. I want to go to the Byredo boutique in Soho to check out that palette in person, I hope it performs as wonderful as it looks!
i make my dog's food ever since she got kidney disease. low fat, low protien. she loves it. i make a lot and freeze it . mix it alltogether then put into freezer bags. my recipe is close:brown rice, greenbeans , egg whites ,hamberger an apple, yam, pumpkin.

Just Food For Dogs - yes! My pupster was on the hepatic formula that required a script from vet, but some of their food does not require a script. From what I have gathered at least from my vets, they consider this high quality food. Both my dogs have loved it. Only thing is is that it is frozen and you have to thaw it and portion it and freeze in smaller portions. Small price to pay for nutritious good food for your dog.

Hi Michele, JFFD might have specific doggy vitamins, etc. that home cooking is missing. That was the case with cats.
Second this. Chicken breast is relatively lower in Taurine which is an amino acid important for dogs to maintain heart health and vision. Turkey on the other hand is high in Taurine. I noticed the JFFD Chicken and Rice food uses chicken thighs which should be slightly higher than chicken breast. Hopefully Miss Butters is taking a supplement or perhaps she is on the current diet short term to calm the pancreatitis. There is a website called BalanceIT that has a calculator available to use for free to determine if a recipe for pet food cooked at home is nutritionally balanced. The company was founded by a board certified nutritionist and they have some type of affiliation with UC Davis Veterinary. For a fee, they will make the food but my understanding is use of the nutritional calculator is free is someone wants to only confirm if the recipe is nutritionally sound.
The Dior coat is gorgeous, love it and the BV is perfection with the pumps, you must keep it you can dress it up or down, I fell in love with it at first sight.
I like the Bottega playsuit on you! The shape is timeless yet different in a good way. I would recommend you hem the bottom when you get a chance. An excellent seamstress can even hem the sleeves and move up the wrist cinches. Glad you had a nice two weeks.
We didn't always cook for our dogs however after we did the improvements to their health and temperament was very noticeable. Well worth the effort. Hugs from San Francisco 🥰

I watched your NY Vlog with the Dior exhibit and it was fantastic, thank you for sharing it, I didn’t comment because I was mopping the floors 😆 I had 3 Shih Tzus at one point, well actually 8 ha! 🐶 And I cooked for them, I learned from my mom, who cooked for our German Shepard dogs back in Peru, and it is the best for them. Hey Michelle! You might want to press down the calcite shade in the Byredo palette (aubergine sequin shade) since it’s packed a little loosely and it looks like yours might have lifted from the pan a little. I just got mine too and I love it so much, I don’t want yours to get ruined!
Check out Byredo’s Sellier which IMO, the best leather scent. Everyone else’s is too citrusy and this one as it fades the leather becomes even more prominent-ugh absolutely gorgeous!
