Thanks for the video -- good info. One comment as a viewer: the music was super annoying when it came in at full volume. Keep the music low volume for ambiance, not high volume.
Pretty cool, I’m sold, I’ve been looking for a tall hard shell for my new tundra trd 5.5 bed, there is only one option for a tall one to fit my gear in and is an ugly boxy aluminum topper, then again I like the option to remove it, I’m def going for the inflatable one, thanks for sharing, I really enjoy your videos
I have a tundra crewmax and I use a Kodiak Truck tent. Very easy to set up and you get the addition of the tailgate for space. You can not drive with it on but you can set up in minutes. Also have an Air Bedz truck mattress. Inflates between the wheel wells with a thin air pad over wheel well. Check them out. Real nice product!
I love my Airbedz Pro3 - I also use a truck bed tent for my F-150, one from Rightline Gear - I like it because it has no floor to it so I don't have to remove stuff from the box when setting up/taking down.
Just picked up a 22 Tundra and I love it. I have been contemplating truck camping even before deciding on a Tundra. So I love this idea and will be getting one. Just curious have you checked out or thought about a Decked storage system? If so any thoughts in general and in particular to a Tundra? Thanks.
I prefer the original older version, it higher than newer ones that flats as the cab top…big loss of head room. And this higher camper shell looks better to me..
I just bought a FLATED, I've yet to receive it. I think the product fills a very specific niche market. There will be many neigh sayers that compare these to traditional hard shells. This is different than a hard shell that it is light, stores easy, isn't specific to a single make truck and requires no modifications to the vehicle. In my case, I have a Ram 1500 with ramboxes. Besttop doesn't make a collapsable canvas topper for my truck. If they did, I would have probably bought that instead. The FLATED is light enough that I'm hoping I can loosen the tie downs from the window, prop up the FLATED and get access to my ram boxes while on the road. Also, in my case, I carry a Dirt bike on a hitch mount on the back making opening the tailgate impossible without removing the bike, this makes most of the bed covers a PITA to use since you have to get a the locking mechanism when the tail gate is down. Added bonus, it's a topper and you can put WAY more junk in the bed.
@@deanhuff123 only concerns I have is how much water do those front corners let in if you get caught in a rainstorm? This would only be used on vacation/camping trips where I bring the dogs and gear. Otherwise I have a bakflip without the dogs
@@syricsjr08 I've got a Ram 1500, my truck has about a 3/4" gap between the front bed rail and the FLATED. Per manufacturer's instructions I've installed a foam insulating strip along the FLATED (I think it was about $20 at Lowes) at that point and it really cuts down on water ingress. Also, I put in a rubber mat on the bed floor from Tractor Supply (SKU# 1354131) which lets any water flow under the stuff in the bed. However, it's not water proof, but it is good enough for our luggage while rolling down the highway.
@@MarkBrenner well that’s good you can do them from either out or inside! Haha damn that’s crazy! Yes you gotta do a camping video now! You said it! Lol
Dude I’m sorry but that thing does not belong on that tundra, that is definitely a downgrade to that freakin’ awesome Tundra. Sorry brah just being honest🤙🏽

I love the how little space is needed when not in use but I still prefer a hard shell if it’s going to stay on. Enjoy it dude

I have a 2015 Tundra and love mine, but jeez I love yours too.

1899 for a getflated?? I'm good chances are it'll only take a year or 2 to deflate and pop somewhere

Cool video I like camper top. How's the tire shine holding up?
They also make inside inflatable platforms, inflatable chairs and tables.
In the future I am sure we will see more and more inflatable products.
Look into a bed mat it makes laying in the bed super nice
You’re gonna have a mobile bouncy house when you add the air mattress! Yay!
😂
You could always turn it around to have access to the truck window
That's awesome! Can you close the windows from the inside too??
What a great idea! Perfect! How's the Husky?
Why did you remove your roll away bed cover? I thought one could mount the inflatable right on top of the side rail. Thx for the vid.
Could you not use that with the bed cover rolled up and still installed on the truck?
Is it waterproof/wind proof? In case you want to camp solo.
Are you still enjoying the bed topper
Does it leak
Can you briefly tell me good points and bad poibts
Hey where did get that. I have a sport trek ford with a very small bed
How does it feel and sound when driving on the freeway

nice...whats the color of your truck?

I have a GMC with a Carbon pro bed and finding accessories that fit it have been a hassle as well. So this fits my niche
@@syricsjr08 I've had mine for a few months and I really like it. I'm surprised by how many people stop me to comment on it too.

Which size did you get the Standard?
That is awesome!
why new wheels?, i absolutely love the ones you currently got on!
What was the overall height? Please let me know.
Look good like the color
Nice. ! How much is that ?
What is your bed length and which size topper did you get? How does it fit? My silverado bed is tiny.
Was wondering same thing with 5.5 bed on tundra, did you get the 5' or 6' flated???
This is a thing?! Pretty cool might have to try it
That’s cool. Is that San Clemente?
New model has a removable can window
I was hoping to find something that was sick, im not sure if this one is sick. Is it sick? I want something definitely sick.
Thank you sharing video
Are you able to undo the windows from the inside or is it just on the outside? How’s the shine been on your tires since it was a lifetime shine lol
Yes you can and the tires are still shining like the day I put them on!
@@MarkBrenner well that’s good you can do them from either out or inside! Haha damn that’s crazy! Yes you gotta do a camping video now! You said it! Lol
Love the coupon code!
BUT, you lose the rearview mirror cam
It’s sick
Hey mark. Where do you buy your wraps from?
Metrorestyling.com
You need to get a bed step help getting in and out of the truck
Got one ordered today!
My friend got his stolen because these have no anti theft
Forr $2k why not just buy thee ultra light leer extended. Genuine question, has to be a sponsor video lmmao.....
No I paid for this thing but I don’t want a full time camper. If I want to remove the leer I have nowhere to store it
@@MarkBrenner THIS is exactly what caused me to find the brand and start looking up reviews.
Please adjust the volume of the music to match your voice. Thanks
Thanks 👍 will look out for that
How is the drive with it on? Can it handle 80mph?
This is the information I stayed for
Yeah drove it yesterday and today on freeway, no problem at all
Great video except for the gen x musix
the price makes no sense tho
Link?
Updated
😂.....oh hell no!
Code no longer works....
No link? Come on my G
It in the bio
Dope!
$1700 is pretty pricey.
No way I would pay $1,700 for that.
I think I'd rather get a canvas topper if I'm concerned about easy on off.
Yikes!
Lol for $1900...?
This is the dumbest thing ever. lol. Its well over $1k. You can literally buy a truck bed tent for $140 and get the same camping experience. lol
I can't even lay down back there what is it a 4ft bed??.......real truck=8ft bed
Dude I’m sorry but that thing does not belong on that tundra, that is definitely a downgrade to that freakin’ awesome Tundra. Sorry brah just being honest🤙🏽
Way to expensive, probably costs $50 to make
