@@Huntm2 I saw stressed out people preoccupied with self-imposed demands, car drivers in front going 20 below and other drivers behind going 20 above, car that just arrived steeling a parking spot from a car that waited and waited and waited for that spot, little old granny shopper pushing over a polite football-player-build man minding his own business, etc, before Christmas. We need focus away from all that and materialism, we need to focus on God's gift of grace that is the real meaning of Christmas, drop the demands and expectations we impose upon ourselves and upon others, and shun the demands others put upon ourselves just the same, and appreciate God's love and let it overflow to others, and/or at least relax, de-stress, and that, all year through, not just on one day.
But then it wouldn’t make us excited for Christmas. We always get excited around Christmas time because it’s only one day a year. If it was everyday it wouldn’t feel the same and after a while it would feel normal. I wish tho :(
