Was gonna say the rubber mallet is what was keeping you from knocking the tie rods out easily. Looking forward to seeing it at a proper ride height and on new wheels
I recommend flipping your outer tie rod end upside down to lessen the bump steer and extended outer tie rod ends to help with lowering the front ride height
I go with K Tuned coilovers on all my Hondas, they are pretty expensive but the best ride quality in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of how Honda changed their suspension set up after 2001. They made it a lot more complicated to remove struts. On a EF,EG,EK,DA,DC2 I could do a full coilovers swap in 40 minutes a DC 5 more like 2 hours 🙄😔 looks good though, some nice wider rims will really set it off... This guy used a rubber mallet lol jkjk Miguel.. You did good my guy...Cut springs was something I did in 1997 and it was so bumpy like a freaking seasaw hitting my head on the ceiling , never again
i just installed the front two of these today, and it was insanely hard to line up to two bolts for the strut on the coilover, I had to lower it to make it fit
As far as right now I’ll be leaving it stock. If I’m able to get a better daily and dedicate this and a full time time attack build, then I can go inside the bay
@@MiguelDsm good plan. If and that's a big if, I was to do anything to it motor wise (if it was my DD of course) id do a intake, exhaust, and header. Otherwise everything else would remain stock. But I also know myself, and id get the bug if I started doing engine work haha.
Broo my dumb ass didn’t get an alignment on my DD Honda after putting on coils, wheels and tires. One of my front tires went down to the wires in like a month, fml!
Depends on the spring. Linear spring rate = no / not necessarily. It's possible if you compress the spring more than what the vehicles weight would. Progressive spring rate = yes. As the softer part of the springs travel will be taken up in the preload Vs vehicle weight alone. 👍 Hope that helps
Got to keep it low so you can honda bro lean in it lol jk car is looking good and much safer than them cut springs interested to see the wheels and tires on it now
Would a swivel helped removed the partial hiding bolt? Miguel better go get that bite checked out or you will become Miguel Morales and start shooting webs.
You'll need an k tuned inverted tie rod and k tuned ball joint roll center adjuster.

The intro is too relatable bro 😂😂😂 laying on the ground after 👌😄
Dannnyyy glad someone still around how are the boys doing ?
They’re doing good! Hoping to get them on the Mitsubishi owners day vlog
Damn that spider bite looks bad. I hope it heals quickly. Good video! The RSX is coming along great. I'm still waiting on the wheel reveal.

Yeah Miguel I second this, bump steer on this chassis and the ep3 is bad after lowering them 👍 or get the honed ones they offer 👍

Great video brother. The DC5 is coming along beautifully!!
Slowly but surely man! Hyped to see it play out
@@MiguelDsm Finna be lit!!
It could be 110 degrees outside and he still be wearing jeans 😂
Need to change out the tie rods and ball joints and get an alignment
In the near future
Chingon!!!! Keep it up bro. 🤙🏻
YAY another video :D
LOVE IT!!
You are awesome and thanks for the motivation last time bro :)
Likewise man! Let’s get it 💪🏻
@@MiguelDsm HELL YES :D
I love these videos he got me into the 3000gt and I want one so bad
Awesome video I learn alot from this
I cant wait for the wheel review anymore 😭

Black halo lights I'd say would make her pop
The best episode yet!🤣😂🤣
Looking good man. Can't wait to see what wheels and tires your gonna run. Are you doing anything motor wise to it, or leaving it stock?

That’s how it starts man. Next thing you know it’s on jackstands getting an awd conversion lol
@@MiguelDsm ain't that the truth hahaha

Happens lol
Does adjusting the preload alone affects the height of the coilovers?

Thanks man. Appreciate 👍🏼
Miguel think u need a floor car creepy when doing projects in driveway also the Acura RSX would handle better with new shocks u put on
I got air ride on some of my cars. Wish me luck. JDM is selling an RSX.

Get konig wheels or motegi wheels to sponsor the build
How does the coilovers ride bro? I’m looking into these or BCs?
Loving them so far 👌🏼
@@MiguelDsm would you say ride quality is pretty comfortable?
Overall yes. I have it to the stiffest setting and it feels like a cloud on freeways. Street is fine just more rigid
4hours into the 45min install be like 😂
That’s what I’m saying 😮💨
I can only imagine all the suspension experts commenting 🤣🤣

Were you gunna wrap your front lip? cuz it looks like your car has a chin strap to me lol
Hopefully that's not a bite from a brown recluse
U tried everything on that tie rod except hitting it with your purse!!
Okay what’s up with that Mustang lol 😅
🇧🇷🇧🇷👀👌
1st
Thanks for watching mang 🤙🏼
