It was our society that created those laws so if some are "cruel and wicked" then that is a reflection of our society as a whole not just the people who enforce the law. If there are no good cops, as you claim, do to the laws that they enforce then there is no good people in our society either. It's purely a pessimistic way of thinking which isn't beneficial to anyone except for those trying to manipulate others.

At my middle school we have a cop that hangs out there, and one day while me and my friends and some random 3 kids were sitting at a table together, he comes over to say hi and one of the kids is like “hey piggy, where’s your farmer boy?” And one of my friends got so pissed he stood up walked behind the kid and pulled him backwards off the chair by his hoodie and said “talk that shit again and I’ll beat your ass” he later got suspended but he said it was so worth it. Now that’s what I call respect for law enforcement
