The Ethernet CAN bus loop to reduce wiring in conjunction with the 48 volt system that Munro discussed is very apparent on the teardown you've done so far. Seeing the suspension/steering components on your video and in addition... how they're gigacasting the panels is truly amazing. I wonder what else lies under the hood. Jack Mode I assume allows one wheel at a time to leave the ground for chasing tires? That is really neat if true!
Need to do a little testing offroad and see!
If it’s the same as S/X, I believe it means the truck stops trying to auto level all tires so you can jack up one side without the suspension fighting against you. Otherwise you would have to be able to jack more than the 17” ground clearance plus suspension travel before a tire would come off the ground.
@@pilotguy1278gotcha. I was wondering if three wheels could be max extended and one wheel intruded ie most lowered position to lift one tire off ground at a time. Would that be possible?
@@diveflyfishI don’t think so. My understanding is that it just “freezes” the air suspension from adjusting so it behaves like jacking up a vehicle with traditional suspension.

People say that there are plastic inserts that go in the place of the side mirrors if you decide to remove them. Could you show that? Apparently those inserts are inside the glove box.
We've looked all over...don't see any.

The only thing that kind of kills the cyber truck for me is the on screen gear shifts… it’s too “futuristic” for me. I need my stick shift.
I don't think there is tent mode since there is no provision to get heat through the rear window into the rear bed area.
I'm guessing some company will come up with snorkels with fans in them that stick in the top of the rear windows to pump heat into Tesla's tent and other units being designed for the rear of the CT.

So it doesn't have "locking differentials" like Elon said. I know the back doesn't have a diff but I don't even see a selection for front or rear lock...
It’s a dual motor not the beast from what I heard the dual motor does not have any differential locks. Which would really suck. Only the beast has front differential locks.

- Park display with the faded map
- Map controls at the bottom left
- Car Wash Mode under Controls tab
- Custom startup screen based on the model name

They probably got permission from the owners of the Tesla and they’re just showing us the UI. And they never said they were working on it. And it’s most likely their Tesla.
@@jensonnguyen1884 he specifically said it was in the shop for upgrades and work to have done you shouldn't be screwing around with somebody else's vehicle he should be professional keep it offline and do his damn job
They may have given the owner a discount for filming. This guy runs a pretty successful business. I think he knows what he's doing.
