Tone Match Gen2 Presets and Captures of a vintage 1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb. The black-panel Fender Deluxe Reverb from the mid 60’s is one of the most sought-after amps of all time. It is considered by many to be the greatest guitar an amplifier ever made. This is a pristine example from 1967, almost entirely original. For classic Fender tones, it simply does not get any better than this. The amp includes the original Oxford 12” speaker.

First!
We are trying a new format. Makes things a bit quicker and easier for us. How’s this feel to everyone?? Let us know!
That’s funny that you “Unintentionally” played lion and the lamb because I’m playing lead for it tomorrow! Sounds so good!❤
its fine we are just excited to try something new
Love this format!
Love the sounds. Can't wait for the Princeton TM2 to be released!
+1
I see worship tutorials video, I click and then I hit like. It’s simple. Helps that the content is always awesome!😉 sounds great, guys!
Thanks Brett!
The Helix's Deluxe Reverb recently unseated the Litigator as my go-to amp of the past ~4 years. It has forever been my #1 real-life amp too. This patch is timely indeed! My current patch has a Klon for boost, Timmy for crunch and the Placater Dirty preamp for leads. Absolutely rips. Gonna get this patch and integrate the IR and some of your expertise for sure!
Love the vids as always! Still waiting for my ToneX to come in so I can start taking part of these amazing amps. Thanks for all you guys are doing!
These sound killer. Love this format as well
You had me in the first 20 seconds. That sounds so good.
I might have been messing around with this present all morning 😏
Sounds great!
Brian if I could make just a small suggestion for your UA-cam videos, it would be good to have perhaps a 5 second outro after the video to give viewers a chance to hit the like button. I find often especially when watching on my TV I forget to hit like and the video ends as I'm about do it. Dunno, maybe it's only an issue for me, but a quick 5s splash saying like and subscribe would go helpful.
well, here goes another $20 lol. Well worth it. I love your stuff guys, thank you.
Haha Thanks! This one isn't $20, though 😎
This is my 9th or 10th preset helix purchase and I find them to be well worth the money. Especially for an old school tube amp guy like me that needs to go direct FOH at church. These come already dialed in perfectly.
Purchased! Got a Pod Go a few weeks back (first delve into modelers) and have been looking for a good preset that just lets me sit down and play and not have to think about all of the complexities behind building my own preset. I believe this one will fit the bill, so thanks for that! Also, big time manual reader here; I'm constantly referencing the Pod Go one.
You've made a wise choice, my friend! Thanks so much. If you haven't yet, grab our free AC30/6 Top Boost TM2 preset for POD Go, too - it's a totally different tonal flavor than the Deluxe, and they compliment each other well.
@@worshiptutorials One of the first presets I downloaded! 😀Quick note...in the POD GO folder for the DLX I don't see an "H" for humbuckers. Looks to be the same "S" file twice with one having a (1) after the file name.
Oh - sorry about that. The one labeled (1) is actually the HB version - it just isn't labeled correctly. If you load it up, you'll see the amp block values are different (gain is lower and treble is higher). You can just re-name that one. Thanks!
@@worshiptutorials Perfect! Thanks for the quick reply! 🤙🏻
It’s got that ting’
What level do you set your input for quad cortex? Love your guy's presets!!
Please consider doing DI Tonex captures 🙏
Man the tonex capture is on the dang money
👌🏻 Tonex absolutely kills it
Not sure why, but I can't find this one on the WT website today. The link works OK, but just browsing the website can't find it.
Any tips for tweaks using an Emerald Virtuo?
Which one do you thing is best for my ToneX one? This patch or the 67 Vibrolux like in the beginning of ToneX one video?
I am looking for beautiful cleans to use as a platform for my pedals.
The answer is yes. They’re different, but they could both hold the title as my favorite Fender. Can’t go wrong either way.
Vibrolux is a bit more mid-focused, while the deluxe is more scooped. A lot of that comes down to the speaker configurations on each amp.
@@worshiptutorials thank you so much for your quick response!
I understand it, however I can change the mids and make the deluxe more mid-focused and vice versa, right? 😊
Wowww can’t wait to pick this up. How does this vary from your Ally Deluxe? Also any plans to do a Silverface Deluxe capture? 😅 I notice most of your Fender amps have been blackface. Is there a reason silverface has been overlooked thus far? Thank you for all your wonderful tones! 😊
The Ally Deluxe is similar, but this one just sounds better :) (to me, anyway). Different speakers in them, too, which is a big part of the overall sound.
We've been going after the black panel vintage stuff just because it's more desirable. I'd love to do some silver-face amps soon!
@@worshiptutorials thank you for the quick response! I had a late 60s/early 70s Silverface Deluxe and it was a silky dream. Definitely going to snatch up this Deluxe release. You guys seriously saved me from lackluster digital tones. Thank you! 😊
How much different is this amp from the 67 Fender pro reverb?
The Pro Reverb is a different circuit, and has different speakers, so they'll be in the similar ballpark, but not quite the same. The Pro is 40 watts, 2x12, with original Jensen speakers. The Deluxe is 22 watts and has an Oxford, so that's a big difference there. The Pro stays cleaner longer, while the Deluxe will break up sooner.
Overall the Pro is sort of a bigger, cleaner sounding amp, but they've both got their own thing going on.
Not new to worship tutorials, but new to tonex. If you’d be so kind, would you recommend your top 3 pick of captures for me? (WT captures of course)
Brian here - it really just depends on what your favorite kinds of amps are. I love Matchless amps, particularly my '94 C-30. So that would be my favorite set of captures. I also love the Marshall Super 100 - that thing is amazing. For other Matchless amps, the Clubman, Chieftain, and Independence are all awesome, too.
For Fender tones, my favorites would probably be the '67 Vibrolux or this '67 Deluxe Reverb. Hard to say which of those two amps sounds better - they're both awesome.
If you like AC30's, our 1964 AC30 Top Boost is the ticket. The Dr. Z Z Wreck, Matchless Lightning, Morgan AC20, and Bad Cat Cub III 40 do really good Vox tones, too.
If you like Marshall Plexi type stuff, definitely try the Super 100 or the Bogner Goldlfinger. That amp is killer, too.
@@worshiptutorials Is there a list or do you know what pairings of your amp captures would not require polarity reverse if running stereo? For instance, would the Match '94 C-30 and this '67 Deluxe Reverb pair well or would they require reversing polarity? I'm looking at picking up two Tonex Ones. I have a LI from Pinstripe, but it doesn't have a polarity switch. Thanks.
@@cassonwenthat would require a looooot of work to figure out. Flipping phase is something every FOH engineer should be able to do. Each channel should have that option!
Unfortunately we haven't done testing like that to find out, so I couldn't tell you at this time.
@@bmitchellmusic Appreciate the response. Just trying to save me from having to buy another LI haha. But it sounds like I may be able to just have FOH do it.
@worship Tutorials...amazing! Bradford...when might that HIGHLY anticipated John Mayer preset making its debut? Pretty pretty pleaaaaase
For someone who uses the Ally Deluxe tone match patch that y'all made almost exclusively, what could/would this Amp/IR offer me that the Ally setup doesn't? (I've reworked most of the effects, etc, on that patch, but the Ally Deluxe Amp/IR combo is heaven.)
Maybe a better question might be: What was your motivation in making this when the Ally Deluxe Tone Match already exists?
Not a loaded question, genuinely curious. :-D
This is an actual 67. The Ally is the dudes rebuilding to 67 spec. To some the vintage year will matter. And the speaker is different.
I’d have to play them side by side tho to tell you the more obvious differences.
@@bmitchellmusic Thanks for the explanation.
I went ahead and bought the patch and copied the amp settings and the IR into a clone of my existing Ally patch. It definitely sounds different.
The Bass/Mid/Treble balance is completely different. When playing clean (slight KoT boost in front) with some reverb and delay it's honestly not that different, but once you put some Minotaur or Prize Drive in front of it, it completely changes its characteristics. It took me a while to really make any sense of it. Has a LOT of treble bite that the Ally one doesn't have when distortion is engaged.
It took me over an hour to rejig the patch to work well with it, but I actually think I got something pretty great out the other side of that effort. It has some audible "depth" that my Ally patch didn't have. Not really sure how to put words to it, but it sounds a lot more "3D."
Can I use this patches in a tonex one pedal as presets? Greetings
Yes, the Tonex amp model presets are compatible with Tonex One
How does this compare to the Tone King?
which PRS model is that?
I’ve seen those Hinomi chairs being advertised, is it legit and good?
I’m very into it, yes!

Had to view cause I am the 667 viewer.
the pedal killer amp.
No headrush ? :(
