It looks like a solid light, with smart features and connectability. The real question I keep asking myself is whether these features warrant the considerable price premium. Do I need them, or should I buy a cheap run of the mill head light and just use my RTL 515? Do you think the price tag is justified?
How did u mount the radar on the seat? I have it mounted on the rod. Also what’s the front mount that you’re using? I have a garmin edge explore and just ordered the garmin ut 800. I have a aero bike as well and it’s a pain to find mounts for aero bikes. I almost regret getting an aero bike for this reason alone. Please reply with the links if u have a minute. Ty in advance 🙏🏻
I hear you on the difficulty to find mounts for aero bikes. I had to do a lot of searching to finally find a way to mount these lights. I put links int he descriptions for the mounts I used. The under seat mount works good. It is a little tight to the bottom of the seat, but I think it works fine. The front light uses a reverse garmin/gopro type mount that connects to a RecTech mount that has a top and bottom mount. The RecTech mount I use was made for the Trek Madone aero bar. They may have other models as well. As long as you can find some kind of aero mount for your bars that has Garmin/Gopro style mounting you are home free, but that can be the hard part.

I got my hands on a varía ut800 for only 60 dollars. It says Eveything it’s good so I’m just gonna wait for it and see how it goes
