Thank you! I saw and heard Joan Baez and Mimi Farina sing it together at the tail end of an episode of the TV show Midnight Special that was hosted by Joan Baez in 1973 or 1974. That show has been re-releasing their episodes in newly digitized format with a live stream on Friday nights. I haven't been able to get them to upload this song as a separate track yet. Joan Baez recorded it on one of her albums, but the title it was mistakenly given on her album by the producers was "Best of Lovers". She said her sister Mimi wrote the song originally and that the title was supposed to be "Best of Friends". I thought it was one of the most beautiful songs ever.
I couldn't find a lyric or chord sheet online, so I transcribed both myself by watching and listening to the youtube video. my voice doesn't do those magical voices justice, but I still try hehe
I've never heard this song. Well done.

@austinitesince1979 I love that 70s Folk sound. It highly impacted my own songwriting.
