Lovely new van. David is amazing with electric but We tend to shy away from doing anything with gas. Just found your channel and working through videos in reverse order so sorry 😂 Rachel & David
Hi guys, I hope you enjoy your new caravan. 😮 pigtale should be fitted by dealership. Go and see the dealership they should do it all for you. Peace of mind. Have a great time away for first trip. Paul and Sarah
@@heyholetstow battery ought to have been done too, but think with you getting it and then leaving it for final bits there’s been some handover steps missed.
I'd get that gas thing sorted at the dealership, you don't want to be gassing yourself out 😅. I also noticed that the Unicorn next door to your Discovery is rather green...
@@heyholetstow Does it have a separate battery back up?. My Alde system has two AA batteries to keep the internal clock and settings intact for when the caravans 12v system is shit down.
He hasn’t got inet, it is inet ready. The truma control panel in both my parents Coachman and in laws 2023 Bailey the truma panel always seems to stay on, usually with an error code because the 12v is turned off and running from solar panel, but neither have inet installed. Inet just lets you control stuff from your phone.
Thanks for watching! First trip away video very soon!

We assume it is a green special edition. 😂
Re gas; you haven't lost the little rubber washer from the gas pipe have you?
No, it was there. Even tried a different pigtail.
i always flip all my battery fuse switches to off when my Bailey is in storage in tbe hope it preserves my battery charge.
I actually gave that a go whilst I asked out about the iNet on/off
The dealership should have attached the pigtail to the regulator during the PDI 🤔
So we have been told. Took it back to them to sort out and thankfully they did. Very important that the Gas is connected properly
What’s the point of the Truma iNet being on its own power supply separate to the master 12v? It’s something else to remember (or forget!)
Yeas, struck me as odd. Must be running even slightly even when off as it remembers what time it is when you turn it back on…

@@garyfoster4704 good point. You could be right. Hopefully.
