Boy Blue youth dancers present Emancipation of Expressionism 3: Because We Can, showcasing an array of hip hop styles. Inspired by Boy Blue motto “Because We Can,” this piece empowers the next generation of artists and creatives.
Founded in 2001, Boy Blue, the brainchild of producer Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and choreographer Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE, encapsulates the pulse of the city it was born in. An award- winning hip hop dance company weaving its frontline stage and screen work around the elevation of hip hop culture.
