Where did you source your new mount? Is it still holding up well after a year? I just bought an aftermarket mount for cheap, and I’m a bit weary on its longevity compared to an oem or factory made mount.
Oh yes yes yes.. the engine was basically resting on the chassis metal to metal. It was a loud metallic engine vibration, clunking, knocking, banging, thumping.. the list goes on. The mount completely collapsed causing the engine to rest on the chassis if that makes sense. Swapping engine and transmission mounts solved all issues

Needs a mount. You are better off swapping both upper mounts
Do you have the part number for the four bolts that go from the support to the motor?
My Mini, I can feel the vibration on accelerator when I try to gas up. I wonder if this can be the cause of it or my strut need to be replaced.
You’ll have to get the vehicle inspected.

50 ftlbs is the torque value for the E12 bottom bolt
