You can actually still hear the SS4 unused level intro (for a split second only) if you click publish, you can hear a song play for like a mili second, and i think thats the unused level intro.
It wasn't suposed to play, but i think is still in the game's files and the code tryies to stop but the code to the original music didint worked, so it will put this one instead, this is a theory of my head, dont think thats the real thing, it happends when you playtest a level to publish
I'm guessing these shortened camera intros were batch-produced (without any regard to the current state of the level, which is also why most of the camera intros lack smooth transitions and are rather careless and ugly)
I have mixed feelings for the intro tracks being shortened. On one hand you don't have to wait as much for a round to start anymore, but on the other hand the intros don't have as much purpose either.

They should've just used the unused SS4 one for the digital themed rounds.

I’d say once your able to pick what soundtrack is in your round they will let you pick the load in sound aswell

@@ErnestoVRgdThey actually decided to bring this back, it's no bug, however what is a bug is that it sometimes plays in the wrong theme
I like the start of season SS3 round intro better than the current one
You can hear the ss4 round intro (but with low volume and only half of it) when you are about to publish a round.
Why do some maps have the shortened music when they are not even shortened?
Post ss4 shortens them so you don't have to wait longer in the round introduction
and some maps have the longer music when their intro is shortened

@@spspste I personally think ski fall had way more effort put in to just be a careless addition, there are new camera angles and everything

i think creative’s levels are a bit broken with they’re intros rn so you never know they may actually still have the unused one in game for ss4
