Here in Switzerland, some places are gearing up for a limited opening next weekend. Exciting times ahead for snow enthusiasts on both sides of the globe! ❄️🏔️
it's so foreign to me to see you casually show up to ski for the afternoon. my old man had us up and on the road by (5am?) to get on the slopes the second the lifts starting spinning, and we rarely called it a day until they stopped (sometimes took lunch in a lodge). it was all about getting our money's worth I guess (especially at a high price ticket like Killington), but I'm totally rethinking that strat these days. So laid back. love it! 😅
Love the story! I get the Ikon pass, it has paid for its self many time over this season so no pressure to get my moneys worth. I also find 3hrs of hard skiing is about all I want to do these days.

You missed out on the free lunch. I ski with backpack so I can eat my lunch wherever I want. I ate my lunch outside so I didn’t have to hike on the catwalk 6 times.

One thing you can say about the east. Their snow making is on point.
Without snow making most of New England wouldn’t ski till after Christmas.
