Great video across the board (footage, music, narration, and help from ur lady)! Love ur positive vibe and energy, very contagious. U brought some newly needed inspiration to my training for upcoming AZ 70.3. Keep it up and good luck with that pro card!!
Just happened upon your channel. Currently training for my first ironman. Really enjoyed your mindset and a look at a week of your training. Subscribed.
Stopped watching all those commercial tri bloggers, but that’s Yeah that’s an awesome fresh project! Great couple work, great training, great landscapes! Keep it up!
I'll be in Haines City racing too!! It'll be my first Half Ironman, I'm looking forward to it! However, I am racing to finish and have fun haha Good luck my fellow athlete!! 2 more weeks!!
great video man! i know the video is quite dated but still giving you just a quick tip that might help you: try relaxing your shoulders more while running, looks like you run a bit tight but I might be wrong! Great content anyways keep it up 🤙🏻
I like your video man! What you did is inspiring! I heard you said a word again&again-EASY! easy easy~teaching us thing will become easy if we've been doing the right training enough time;)
Loving these videos. Such fantastic quality. There are quite a few of us triathletes here on UA-cam if you ever want to connect with the group. Best of luck at haines city. Looking forward to hearing how it goes! 👌
intesting to look at your week, i did my 23hr week in the heat of prepping for world triathlon LD world champs in ALmere in few weeks, now just smooth sailing in taper towards the event... i was in holiday though wihtout daily work load... but next week i still managed to get 18hr with "normal +" workload to dip the scales :D
Hey guys, just found your channel! Very good content :) Will continue to watch it! Out of curiosity, is Miguel from Portugal? The name is typical from our country (I am Portuguese too)!
Very interesting and I wanted to watch the whole video but those ssssss sounds were making my eyes water. Best of luck young man you seem to be a great guy.
Damn, how do you have under 10k subs with this quality... Subbed! I’m a starter triathlete, it would be awesome to hear your opinion on beginner training plans. Haven’t found a good training plan yet. Anyway, keep up the good work! Greetings from Finland.
consistency is the name of the game so whatever you can do given your schedule / circumstances is the best place to start. check out workingtriathlete.com (our coach). masters at training plans for all levels, plus an amazing community. if you inquire on their site, feel free to shout us out for a discount 🤙🏽
Great video, always super motivational to see someone executing a week like that! Thank you :) Also wanted to ask, the shorts you wear for the Sunday long run, looks like the inner short has some sort of pocket for a phone, looks exactly like what I'm trying to find! Any chance you got a name or brand I could look for to get myself a pair? (not a fan of the running belts as I feel they squeeze the stomach., and this looks like the optimal alternative) :) Looking forward to following along your journey.
Good job Miguel, you need to relax your shoulders when you run and you'll do way better in no time. Try to run standing tall like if somebody were pulling you from the belly.
Miguel, can you give us your max heart rate and the speed and heart rate of your easy run on Monday? Just curious to see how far I am to be at your level (relatively speaking). Thanks!
Max HR is probably around 190. Running at around 8:30/mile pace on easy runs HR is around 120. All very dependent on the day. Take that with a grain of salt since everyone is vastly different when it comes to training and performance!!
@@FreestyleTri I missed you then! I graduated 17, over at Berkeley rn not nearly as pretty but still nice. Hopefully one day I can afford to move back :)
Great video Good luck on your races I wanted to ask about those 100s you swam . 1 hard one easy 2 hard 1 easy ..... going up you were leaving on 1:05 and going back down you were leaving on 1:20? What were you coming on ? Was the easy just easy no time interval ? Thank you
calling it now.. this channel is gonna get big. crazy good documentary-quality content
Thank you! 🙏 tell your friends
+1
I concur.

Nice - Video thanks guys!
this was honestly hype , all the film work and the overall vibe is so on point brilliant insight into a massive week there :D
Very impressive!

The struggle is real with having enough bike bibs. I think the ideal number of bibs for tri training is N + 1
Our sport is too expensive!

Northern California - I’m sure you have it pretty good in Greece too 🤙🏽

Piece of advice: lower your arms and relax them while running, it will greatly increase your efficency. Overall great video and good luck to you.

Awesome stuff. Is the weekly bike mileage correct? 60 miles seems low for almost 7 hrs :)
Thanks Trevor- so funny you noticed ... not counting the stationary “miles” !
Really inspiring video guys, love the whole vibe. Q: what brand/type are the goggles Miguel is wearing at 7:30? Thanks !
