Started dj ing 3 years ago with just a laptop, got this controller a year later and since then we are inseparable . I freaking love it!!
I use it with Virtual DJ Pro, super easy to use😊, cost either $20 / month or one time fee of 299.
still to this day it is the best value by far in a controller that i've used! it's a beast

the FLX 4 is very tempting and more popular since it is newer. I haven't tried it but I have seen that it has a lot of cool features. I have heard a few bad things such as the usb port being loose, but I am sure it is probably extremely comparable to the Inpulse 500. Probably even better in some ways. I chose the Hercules bc I was already familiar with Pioneer and I like to try gear that are lesser known or more unique. But I think you can't go wrong no matter what you choose in this price range!
@@AnthonyPolanco thank you for your reply Anthony, I actually just ordered the Pioneer one yesterday because I have the Hercules 200 one. And, I want to get used to the Pioneer interface and Rekordbox software. I also bought it cause of the cool features. I think Hercules comes has great products. However, Djuced software isn't all that great, honestly. Customer service couldn't help me with some error messages I was getting.

Not enough outputs and inputs on pioneer Controllers
Numark mixtrack platinum fx is the best under $300 I think. So nice for the price
Not enough bang for the buck and has a annoying hum because of the platters through premium systems

@@AnthonyPolanco been planning to upgrade my dj controller from ddj-200 and i sometimes see this controller as my choice. Cuz it's a lot cheaper, gotta save a lot to get this❤️
@@johnlypolanco744 There is a lot of Polanco musicians . My dad is a great musician and he has told me of a few different Polancos he's met who were famous or semi famous musicians as well. I have tried a few diff. budget controllers since making this video and I still like this one the best. If I were to use something else besides this, it would have to be a DDJ-1000 or better. the build quality can't be beat for this price range

sorry bro no I usually don't collect a lot of gear. whenver i upgrade something I usually sell the old one on ebay unless I really want to keep it for memories@@johnlypolanco744
