That was why we said you should've watched it to the end last time lol. This also goes to show that not every german was a mustache twirling, evil person. That heroes were fighting on both sides. I'd recommend the Sabaton song "Hearts of Iron". Its about a german commander and his troops disobeying Hitler's orders and evacuating thousands of civilians out of Berlin, saving them from Soviet vengeance.
What's really amazing is that German pilot, Franz Stigler, was just one kill away from becoming an ace. Instead he risked being court marshalled and protected the air crew. Stigler later said "You follow the rules of war for you - not your enemy. You fight by rules to keep your humanity."
If you liked this songs story. Look up sabaton's song "the Last battle". It's about the battle of castle itter, when the American army, German weirmarct, a ss officer, and French VIPs all fought on the same side.
"You can never this day and time, find a plane that strong." Ahh, I'd like to introduce you to my friend, the Fairchild Republic A10 Thunderbolt II, more commonly known as the A10 Warthog.
Well the B17 Bomber was called the Flying Fortress.... Glad you all liked this video, one of my favorite historical events as well as a perfect song written about it.
As strong as the Flying fortress was, many never came home. There are an estimated 4145 aircraft that were shot down by fighters or Flak during the war. At RAF Duxford they have a memorial to all the crews that never made it back. It's humbling.
The old airplanes flew at much lower altitude and were way heavier. Thus both slower, but also uses a lot more fuel. The lack of pressurization etc. also means that it was pretty damn cold inside at the bombers altitude, its why they wear clothes like they are in the arctic.
My favorite Sabaton song, and the one I can most relate to. I live near Bremen (the place they bombed) and Oldenburg (where they almost crashed), and my Grandpa was a AA-guner at the Atlantikwall, in the Netherlands.
Nice reaction!!! Looking forward to hear alot more reactions from you two!!! By the way. Check out "Nightwitches" (if you havent allready) . Its also an amazing story ...and animated! Thanks again!!! Here it is ua-cam.com/video/5YPo8zDkvy4/v-deo.html

It really sucks, that many people aalways tuink, that every german was like hitler and only a murder.

"Ci- Ci- Ciaphas Cain, Hero of the Imperium"
He was a ace with 27 confirmed kills. He was 1 kill away from getting the iron cross so a ace by German standards.
Nice reaction, Thank you for the reupload. Apprechate that!

New planes do crash faster I agree but I think there were like 8 seats on a b-17 compared to the like 200 on a normal passenger plane
So true👏👏
