REZ was a fucking MONSTER this tournament and in the final. Sure he didn't have numbers as good as f0rest's, but considering how difficult entry fragging is, he was absolutely incredible. So many rounds where he'd get 1 or 2 kills on entries. So many huge CT rounds, too. Probably won't ever have that type of performance again in a tournament considering his role, but my god he was electric to watch.

Karrigan chose cbble over nuke is well somewhat correct, if you look at the recent several months of faze, it's all about guardian, his good maps are faze's good maps, his bad maps are faze's bans, guardian is terrible on cbble, but comparing to nuke still better, cbble at least can be a good awper map, and because faze is hard favourite, nothing wrong with picking maps from their own perspective. allu is bot sometimes but he is weirdly consistent in close range combat, it's hard to cluster fuck allu, which gave faze at the time cache and cbble (and train maybe), you chose guardian over allu, sure strengthen overpass mirage and inferno to an almost invincible state, but also make other maps vulnerable
when you think about skill ceiling. I would rate f0rest up there with anyone of the best players in the world now. might be an old 1.6 heart talking. but thats my honest opinion, would be great to hear what you think about that thorin?
Agreed, when forest is performing he is usually the best player on the server pulling off shots that are just unbelievable and playing against coldzera/niko he certainly matches up against them well, i think those players are slightly better because they seem to be able to pull of better plays more often but in terms of firepower he is up there with them.
well, its hard to be at top at consistency over aslong as he has been playing in the top. the fact that him and Neo still has these games where nobody else touch them and they are 29 and 30 years old. if i remember correctly, is amazing! but for highest peak i personally would choose f0rest over cold and niko. but i might be biased

Playing any game online vs. LAN is going to see changes. There are peeks you can't make on LAN, challenges you can't take, strats that just fall apart. LAN pressure as well can get to inexperienced players. There's a whole world of variables that go into making a map more volatile on LAN than it might be online.
