Her out is useful it is just difficult to use it is good to create space and if you have your drone down all the spiders it creates will take that new path you make towards enemies. And your claws only attack wherever you are looking so to get value you have to track your enemies after the knock up.

I think my least favorite part about Peni is her Ult. I only use it as a "oh shit" button when I get low.
It is superb to take an area. Very useful if your team is being pushed back or when your team need to advance.
