Supernote is FAR SUPERIOR to Remarkable. More studier, much better pens that don't need replacing, excellent customer service, and you don't need to pay a monthly fee. I honestly have no idea why people choose Remarkable over Supernote.
I received A5X yesterday and decide to return immediately. The writing experience almost same as an iPad with a paper-like screen protector. I'll keep rMarkable.
for Europeans: do not buy the remarkable unless you have a CC. for once, essential functions are only covered by the annual subscription, like data syncing, though you get a year free, you need to have a CC right away, otherwise those functions cannot be used. given the price tag, the superb competition, its just deceiving, a rip off.
just received my A5X. So far pretty impressed and getting the hang of it and starting to go paperless and start integrating it into my daily workflow. thank you KIT as I watched so many of your videos when I was looking into the world of e-ink tablets which i just came across recently. your videos helped me a great deal in deciding which device to spend all that money on (still that is the only real downside that those are still so expensive). keep up those great reviews and comparisons!
I have used my Supernote A5X for nearly a year now. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. I am a student and it has been sooo helpful. It is very durable too.
I couldn't live without a backlit screen....
Can u you use a third party case for supernote?
Remarkable is WAY BETTER than supernote in note typing, back-light would be nice but then it'd make the writing less natural.
Which one does the best in bright sunlight to take notes or reading PDF files? Remarkable 2 or SuperNote A5X
I’m a salesperson who travels to see customers at their location and am looking for a unit to take notes, put them in a to do file and be able to e mail them converted to text as well as file them into categories. I think it may be a cool conversation starter to peak their interest and remember me. Which unit is best for that? I don’t draw or need to write notes in books or anything like that. Thanks!

I have both. I was an early adopter of RM2, and just received my SN a month ago.
I had both at one point (back in 2021) but eventually sent the SuperNote back. I miss it. I loved the feel of writing on it the most. I'm tempted to get another one in the future. As for my reMarkable, I'm never getting rid of it. 🤣

Just curious--do these both have the same screen brightness? Or is one brigher than the other? That's something that i appreciate.

One of the things that makes remarkable special is there focused on nothing no distraction just the plain and simple note taking or planning
Thank you for the Video - I am so torn -- I am a big fan of the IPAD, and I don't have any problem with learning new features. but looking for a Moleskine Replacement for Business Meeting Note taking, Journaling, BUT ideally be able to search for past notes, thoughts. I have an MacBook Air (VERY Portable), an HP laptop (Corporate Work) and I use my IPAD for everything else -- The last piece would be annotating PDF but it is NOT too painful on the IPAD.. I would love to be able to look up notes from my Devices (hence I keep coming back to the IPAD) but just don't like the "feel".. Still suggest the Remarkable? I was really hoping the Scribe would do it but ........ In ANY Case - I will keep watching regardless! THANK YOU and God Bless!
