    Thank you so much Heather, I love that you walked us through the whole process. Great job, love the design. One thing that always bugs me is the demand numbers when doing product research b/c every seller has to do research and doesn't that skew those numbers? Happy Holidays to you. 🥰❤💜💕

      Thanks for watching and supporting my content here! ❤ This is a great question and I'm happy you asked this! The demand numbers for the Etsy search bar are suggested by Etsy itself such as the 1:58 part of the video where Etsy suggests 'birthday gift for her' or 'birthday gift for him' which is typically based on searches + conversion events. That being said, I'd imagine data still being skewed by sellers searches.
      Etsy's search engine recommendations are based on SV + purchases from customers to lead customers to the highest likelihood of a conversion event, so even if searches were skewed by seller's searching, the more powerful factor Etsy is counting is what searches and search phrases lead to conversions, hence why seller searches would not have the larger weight in search; however, it still can skew data in increasing the number of SV, so you are correct in this that it can be frustrating.
      When it's a search demand over 10K on Etsy like this niche, it's a good proportion customer search volume and not just seller's searches. I'd squint my eyes at SV of under a few hundred, but for anything over 1K searches it's hard to make that all being sellers. There is a percentage that would be sellers, but typically that would be a small proportion of actual searches shown. However, this is why it's important to always validate research through total sales, favorites and monthly sales after analyzing through just Etsy's search so the second step typically can help validate the market demand outside of the possibility of skewing search volumes. Hopefully this helps a bit and Happy Holidays to you as well! ❤ ❤ ❤

    On Kittle, I couldn't find the section where you can just create a design by typing your text and choosing the style.

      Hey there! On Kittl, the area to add text is the Tt icon on the left and selecting 'heading'. Once this is selected, it will show on the artboard. Hopefully this helps in finding it and thanks for watching! ❤

      @@itsheatherstudio When I click on the Tt icon it doesn't look anything like yours. I ended up finding it under design generator. :)

    That second listing you showed had 0 monthly sales. I think that etsy uses the 20 in cart is just to attract customers. I had a shop awhile back and had a few sales and they started putting that on some of my listing. I'm trying to figure out what type of shop to open. I'm opening a new shop soon.

    From what I saw, I can now see that the beautiful, sweet girls are selling on Etsy, while the men are selling on Amazon. By the way, great video!

      Hi Scarlett, thanks for watching & supporting my content here! ❤ Haha to all the things while listing, totally relatable! You do not need Kittl - I just prefer it for my own shop but Canva is a great software too!

    I have a question... Do you always use the whole print area with a graphic? Just trying to find the best option. Do you find yourself scaling down or do you always use the whole area ?

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  День тому

      On a tshirt I typically use the whole print area in most cases with my design. Unless it's a one line of text and it doesn't make sense to enlarge the whole size - that's the few times I do not enlarge my design to the full print area in Printify. Also, print on demand companies typically 'scale down' or 'scale up' your design per size so there's no need to scale down per size if you just enlarge to the full box print area, if that makes sense. This is Printify's article more about the design scaling process: help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483635618961-Will-my-design-be-scaled-up-or-down-based-on-the-garment-size
      Hopefully this helps and thanks for watching! ❤
