Spam 'E' To Interact | Repeatedly Press 'E' - Unreal Engine 4 Tutorial

- Hey guys, in today's video, I'm going to be showing you how to have the player spam the interact key to complete something. I.e. spam 'E' to pick an item up, or to break free from an AI. This can be used for whatever you like, the concept is, spam a button to fire off code.

This is amazing, your tuts are clear and quick. It would brilliant if you expanded on it, would like to see you force a door open where the animation moves with the increments or breaking out of enemies grips 🤘

Hey Matt! I know this tutorial is old now but I adapted it to Unreal Engine 5 and ran into one small issue, if I spam the E key too fast, the bar doesn't register immediately and also doesn't seem to keep track of how many times I've pressed it making it to where even if I spammed E 15 times really fast, it doesn't make the object disappear, any idea why this might be occurring? With the new EnhancedInputAction I'm using the started evaluation for getting the key pressed.

Mashing E to get away from an AI would be an awesome tutorial! I'm doing a zombie thing, and having to break away from their grip would be great to know how to do!

Can you make a tutorial similar to this but when the enemy attacks a message pops up saying spam a or a certain key to push the enemy off

If not working just disconnect the connection from the branch's false pin, if you want to control this in UI like- tap spamming! hope it helps
Can someone help me with the bar filling up with color?
Do you mind if you can just do: On-screen text when near a character. So when I come up to a character it will say Press Enter To Switch. You click enter then you switch and it takes one second like you did for your first one in @. Without the bar, just the text Can you pls do that?

"You can do this exact same process I did with creating the widget on begin and end overlap. I have a video on a widget appearing and disappearing from your screen based on your proximity to something, and one on changing characters. Hope it helps :)
