Saw y’all in salado a couple years ago, helped drive the bus to Nebraska about 2 years ago, and now gonna see y’all at billy bobs next month on the 2nd to last show. Can’t wait to see y’all again!!!! Donnie from belton!!!
I just came across one of your videos yesterday. I really dig your playing, great job. I watched the earlier stuff like your Coachella show and one or two when. You started the watch back. I liked that ,very cool. I will say I likes the camera much better on those. You kill it ! Good luck
What sounds are you using for your click? Is it just like 808 shaker and block samples? Really digging it gonna try that for my setup. Not a big fan of playing live to the Ableton default click.
Love this moving camera angle. Your nickname should be “The Surgeon” dissecting those triplet kick fills and cymbal/hi hat work. I had seen y’all live at the huge venue in Devore and them snare ghost notes came through with the mics and the triggered snare was sweet. At least that what I think you were using. Anyway cheers!!!
When you play with a click did you send the click to FOH and then they distro the click or did you have the click direct out and then you blended the mix?
@@drummer3249 I would just leave them on until they start to sound bad. But you can at least get 3 months out of them. As long as they sound good and aren’t visibly dented or losing their shape.
Killed it! Dialed in on that click! Great video sir!
Its sad to think these concerts are over. You guys have a lot of very good unique music
So good 🤘
Loved the video! Wish you best of luck after the farewell tour ends
That snare sounds incredible!
3 mics and a trigger!
That explains it, it sounds huge!
Aye aye ayeeeee… 🫵👏👏👏👏

Thanks man! Keep on watching!
The new/old kit sounds good! Are you still using 8 inch deep snare? Besure and tear it up for me in Kansas City on the 20th
Yeah still using the SwampDawg!

Haha that’s awesome. Thanks for the compliments!

Click goes to monitor world side stage and then he blends it in to everyone’s mix, including FOH
Ah ok. Thats what we started doing so I could have the others on it as well. But always afraid I’f that goes out so does mine vs the other way
How often do you change the heads on the kit ?
Not that often. I order 1-2 full sets of heads at a time and probably get a few months out of them (15-20 shows at least)
@@dustysaxton so if a kit is used 4 times a month for 3 hours, what would be the recommendation to change the heads ? It’s for a kit at a church

@@dustysaxton just booked a time for the 19th. Thank you for comment back
That tom roll at 2:37 made me pregnant. You're welcome
