- Meet Jacquie! This Quinceanera Magazine cover girl is excited to have the Quinceanera of her dreams. Her Quince will be a very special day because she will finally be reunited with her large family from Mexico, most of whom she hasn't seen for 10 years. It will be a challenging event with around 400 guests attending. But this family is no stranger to struggle and they're looking forward to celebrating their accomplishments with all their loved ones on Jacquie's big day.

I can totally relate to being born in Mexico and leaving family behind, its really harder than what people think. I was 6 when I moved to Texas and knew no English and learning it was difficult. I recently spent all of July back in Guadalajara, Jalisco after like 5 years and its heartbreaking saying goodbye to family when you don't know when you'll see them again. But its all for the better life here and I'm really grateful to live in Texas and to be from Guadalajara
