Hi there. Thank you all for your feedback! It's very important to me to know what you think about my hack. But I'd like to let you all know that the version played on this video shows a very outdated version of the ROM. Nowadays the game has improved a lot. If I compare this version to the current one, they can't be easily compared, but there's a lot to improve yet. Sadly I'm still unable to release something new about this because I have no time available for doing so. Again, thank you all for your time! If you liked it, I really appreciate it, and I hope you can enjoy a new release soon. If you didn't, well... to be honest I dislike this version too. Maybe a new release could change that? I don't know... but I'll try my best.

Great hack. And very well made level design too. Surprisingly well made. The music is AWESOME. That sigma fortress 1 gave me shudders. Fits really well with the level.

I'm willing to play this. I'd play it on mute for the most part, as most these tracks I can live without, but it looks great! It looks like it plays smooth, and I like the level redesigns.
Hrrm. This feels like a version of Sonic Megamix, but without 7th emerald or other Characters. I wonder how much cooler is the "improved version"? Btw, is Sonic Games Dimension some sort of SonicRetro alternative?
Sonic Games Dimension was another sonic hacking forum besides SSRG but was shutdown around 2016. There is another one called Sonic Hacking Zone which was made recently.
Don't forget the extensive ASM hacking, for level layout, and the changed special stages... Besides, if it is so bad, why not make a hack if your own? I'd love to see you do better.
Soundtrack is great! basically a compilation of all the best 8 and 16 bit game tunes. special shout outs to whoever remixed bridge zone for SMS and the Sonic 2 boss fight remix. Damn end zone is a chore with 7 hits... its a marathon in this version, someone should come up with a better version of that, its a week-ass fight after the earlier bosses.
I like how green Hill is all shades of green with sonic 4 splash hill zone music theme! More mods here. ft. BTG #BlueTelevisionGames #SonicMods #SonicOneMods
The color palette is cool, it’s also cool to change from dawn to dusk to night. The only problem I have with this hack is the apparent lack of a hitbox: you hit enemies that should be hurting you
This Ristar water theme (Forgot the planet name =p) actually fitted well with the white Marble Zone. Also, Song Of Storms! Man, that shit is good! Ristar Boss Theme is also great, too bad they put it in such a short fight like the Labyrinth Boss. Oh, from where is the S3 Boss Remix used in the Final Zone?
The level design was mostly competent other than the requirement to go into an invisible wall during the 2nd Marble Zone level. But the music is so inconsistent it may as well be on a random number generator. Especially Labyrinth Zone since all 3 levels use different forms of the same song but in every other zone, including the 4th water level, it uses different songs for each. Also too many of the songs have long build ups which meant they got cut off before even beginning due to the level ending, monitor buffs or drowning resetting them. Oh and of course the colour pallet swapping, the blue ground with blue background of Springyard and bright orange Starlight Zone were bad. And making bosses have higher HP doesn't make them hard.
It's not coming any time soon, though. You're gonna have to wait for quite some time before it finally releases. There's a reason behind this, though. It's gonna be a HUGE game. Absolutely huge.
Lemme make this even more epic for you!!! This is how Möbius looks after Sonic Generations. Classic learned the homing and decided to use his speed to restore the world to it's original form! ^^
+Inktastic Inkling ikr! Sega should make a game following that theme. I like Sonic Boom and all, but they destroyed everyone's personalities and made new ones. So, I say back to the basics!!
this hack has an excellent soundtrack, but there's two pieces I can't identify and the author doesn't seem to have made a source list. what's the music from scrap brain act 2? so familiar
I love Marble Zone's Act 01 palette... Reminds me of the graveyard from Altered Beast... And I wish I could get a rip of that theme for Marble Zone Act 03.
That's a nice observation!!! I actually notice this awhile back and forgot all about it. The genesis was so well done, truly ahead of its time mostly all of the title launches had references too each other in their games. In Streets of rage I think axel wears sonics shoes but reverse colors.
At first I was sad that it didnt have Sonic 1s special stage music and had Sonic 3s. But then I released it's actually better so why not. Cool that its different each time too
The 100% complete save file cheat can be done by entering this button combination at the file select screen. Left, left, left. Right, right, right. Up, up, up.
Star light 1 clash on the bridge final fantasy 5,act 2 title screen credits time trax(is a remix version on this game i think)and act 3 i don't know haha
+MarchleStienZ Event 10 hits are too much if the boss is repetitive. If they're gonna make it long, at least make it so that the player has to change their strategy every 2 or 3 hits. Keep it dynamic.
+MarchleStienZ That's right, but mind this: it's 2015, and even if your hack is reminiscent of the original games, you need to appeal to modern players. And you're not limited by technology, so a more dynamic fight with short parts is feasible! How about some edits of the bosses...?
Make a sequel plz!
Why didn't u add splash hill zone act 3 on green hill zone act 3
maybe you can add Sonics face getting red when he drowns

and epic!
Great hack. And very well made level design too. Surprisingly well made. The music is AWESOME. That sigma fortress 1 gave me shudders. Fits really well with the level.

I really like how they balanced the special stages.
No Sonic CD jump sound? I’m in heaven.
Very nice. The proto homing attack looks very fun to use.
That first screen with the MegaDrive startup would've been a GREAT startup screen!
song of storms for labrynth zone? we got a REAL gamer up in here!
holy shit
song of storms is my favourite song
+Somerandomguy426 Master of random definitely and hi against
+Somerandomguy426 Master of random again
+Vegas Vanga Including me, I just don't remember how old I was.
Somerandomguy426 I think they did it so people wouldn't have Vietnam flashbacks of labyrinth zone. But still do with the drowning theme
Green Hill is Green?? Oh thank god for you Changed Green Hill into green
Darth Vader and marble zone looks closer to being marble colored.
SonicFan25 still a better zone than all of sonic lost world
Labyrinth has Lost its water.
I'm willing to play this. I'd play it on mute for the most part, as most these tracks I can live without, but it looks great! It looks like it plays smooth, and I like the level redesigns.
I love when Ristar's music is used, anywhere. that soundtrack was the truth
Geez, they buffed up the Eggman bosses.
LightNinGlitch 1 I know! I was like why won't he die already?!

Holy shit I was not expecting that rearrangement of the Sonic 3 boss theme at the end.
+MastaGambit i love it there for i must have it i love a good remix but this is actually way beyond awesome
I kept saying that the rearrangement should've been in Lava Reef Act 2's boss. And…well, I actually mean it.
Marble Zone Act 3's theme sounds epic.
Love how the speed shoes music is super sonic racing
Marble Zone act 3 with Sigma stage 1 music!
what's the name of that one song at the end of Sonics special stage? (when you get get the chaos emerald)
Kristijan Nemeth cool thx
I don't get it, what makes this hack "Special" in any way or form? It's just sonic 1 with a speed boost, some colors changed and more music tracks.
Don't forget the extensive ASM hacking, for level layout, and the changed special stages...
Besides, if it is so bad, why not make a hack if your own?
I'd love to see you do better.
Michael Moya
Teach me how to do it and i will do it yesterday
-MISSING- You do know ASM = code, right?
Sonic 1 did NOT have a Homing Attack.
Chang Jia Yang
you blow my mind
not only that people think of good ideas while they eat they food thats why they call it a hack

man i always loved the sonic 3 special stage music (blue sphere)
It seems like the developer disabled debug mode, because there seems to be no way to unlock it. Even PAR cheats do not work.
The color palette is cool, it’s also cool to change from dawn to dusk to night. The only problem I have with this hack is the apparent lack of a hitbox: you hit enemies that should be hurting you
This isn't a walkthrough, this is a runthrough.
This mod is freaking awesome! Like what? And how are you so good!
Super Soccer theme as the invincibility music. Genius.

The water song is called Break Silence!!!!!
siempre me han gustado los juegos del sonic
me gusta bastante esta versión. mola.
And suddenly, I'm living the way I used to - back to the worlds defined rather more from renders of the heart and mind...
The level design was mostly competent other than the requirement to go into an invisible wall during the 2nd Marble Zone level. pretty good sound track and the changed art and colors is cool.
labyrinth act 1 the song of storms remix nice
I love all the music in this video
*longplay
A walkthrough for a game no one will play because it is an obscure homebrew and not even an official game--makes sense.
Do all of these stages go from day to night as you progress through them?
What's the music @3:20? the second bonus stage. I haven't heard that music since I was a kid, so nostalgic.
That's a song from Sonic 1 for Master System and Game Gear!! It's the Bridge Zone song
i think it's cool that they added music from other sonic games and even mega man ext. also this guy is good at playing all the hacks.
also what is the music for the marble zone boss
You Forgot Loz And Ristar
That double green of Green Hill zone looks really cool.
Que gran versión del Sonic 1
..épico!!!!
Amy, what's the name of the jingle you used for Spring Yard 3?
I don't like how most Sonic 1 romhacks just try to be Sonic Megamix and fail. This is an example.
Marble Zone 3 ost is Mega Man X Sigma Stage 1
Should have been saved for Scrap Brain Act 1.
This really is something special.
The aerial dash technique is awesome!
+James Lising I thought that at first. Now I feel like it's too easy and spoils the flow of a level.
Love the bonus song and the music
Did anyone notice the invinceibility theme is super sonic racing (sonic R + Sonic Generations
Actually the speed shoes are the super sonic racing theme, the invincibility has different theme(I'm not sure what it is).
Gotta love that the song in Green Hill is Splash Hill from Sonic 4.
14:31 Wasn't excepting Virtual-On music.

I love the Labyrinth Zone act 1 music as well as marble zone act 3. Where are they sampled from?
Song of Storms Remix through 3 acts!
The green hill zone music in this hack is splash hill zone from Sonic4
Seems like egg man didn't make his ship out of cardboard this time
It took a collaboration of that many companies to change the colours a bit?
this hack has an excellent soundtrack, but there's two pieces I can't identify and the author doesn't seem to have made a source list. what's the music from scrap brain act 2? so familiar
I love Marble Zone's Act 01 palette... Reminds me of the graveyard from Altered Beast... And I wish I could get a rip of that theme for Marble Zone Act 03.

When will hackers realize that making a boss fight longer doesn't make it harder?! It's really boring and obnoxious, to be honest.
Mind that this is just my opinion :) It's not wrong to do it just like in the older games - I just feel that even though imitation can make a good product, it's innovation that makes it outstanding!
