- Hello everybody and welcome back to City Bus Manager!
We're back in Tarvin today where we're on another mission to make sure we've got enough buses to run our services. So far we're actually doing well and tomorrow's service however now we've got some more map to explore we're going to try and get ahead of the game.
I'd quite like to run a really frequent service between Chester and Ellesmere Port, however I'm not going to fall for the "route before bus" trick again. We're going to get the buses organised before!

Every time Joe goes into the second hand marketplace, he never leaves without having a go at somebody 😂
Also I recommend doing livery’s for the major routes so for example replace the orange on your livery for like a light blue for example with the dark blue between the black and the light blue. So then It stands out but still fits in if you know what I mean.
I really like the idea of route branding, it's just getting the time to do it! Life seems to be so hectic at the minute I could really do with a 10 day week haha :D

Go in the shift schedule and click settings, there you can adjust shift length.

I’m one of the CBM bus modders. Glad to see that your CBM video. We all shared the same feeling and struggle when purchasing used buses lol
Now that you have mentioned, I was not sure about the capacity when I created the Omnicity DD. I just input 90 cuz’ I see a 87 seater on the real world second hand market. Maybe I should revise the total capacity to 98.
And now I see that the Esteem is a little smaller than other buses, probably need to scale that up a bit too.
Ohhh you must be the great 70M! I love your buses! Oh no not at all I think the Omnicity is just fine, it’s just with my liveries I get the ALX and the Omnicity confused from a distance 🤣

Might be good to have spotlights in the depot for driver safety, but really just to brighten the graphics up at night time
Hi Joe. I enjoy watching your series. As a Dane, it's remarkable to see how different your fleets are to those that I'm used to in Denmark. In my city (vice-capital Aarhus) we have no double deckers and just a very few 12 meter buses (2 axle) for the low volume routes. The vast majority consists of 15 meter buses (3-axle) and bendy-buses (18 meter)
Almost all of the buses are Solaris Urbino, with a few Volvo and MAN Lion's City, also the fleet is rapidly transitioning to purely electric and expected to be fully fossil-free in 2030 at the latest (including reserves) and much sooner for the main fleet.
I haven't been playing recently, but plan to do so again in the near future - the latest updates certainly seem to have improved the game quite a bit, especially the automation bits. I was working on recreating the actual route network of my city, perhaps even down to using the actual schedules and got quite far before the break - most of the main routes had been established, but still missing all the special night routes.
I noticed you haven't even unlocked bendy buses in your game, and from what I understand, they never played a major role in UK. I have no idea how we'd ever do without them in Denmark. In my city they've been around since 1988 (DAB Series 7)

The 15m single decker hasn’t really ever caught on here either, I guess in our cities there’s a lot of ridiculously narrow streets they’re just not suited to.
And bendy buses… well they’ve had a couple of fleets around the UK but they just don’t seem to be liked by the companies 🤷🏻♂️ who knows why haha

great series, I was wondering if you could play a game that I really enjoy its on roblox but before you say anything you enjoyed stepford county railway, anyway its a really fun bus simulator called croydon the london bus game and its really fun please at least give it a try!

A bit late to the party, but I'm working my way through your series. Not sure if you've worked this out or been made aware in a later video, but when you're mid-shift and have bought more buses, it sometimes says you don't have enough buses or drivers because it cannot work out the whole days' shifts. It doesn't allow enough time between tours, so it thinks there aren't enough. If you use the shift tool for the following day, you'll get a better indication of whether you have enough buses/drivers 🤓
I don't see many invite war 200 and 300 and 400 it's a lot of just miss bushes and very heritage fleet I say in there but some brand new inval 200 buses I don't know if you already got them the game and just have not researching but I just not a sim card just give you a heads up😊

I feel like you should have free beers of repairing you already got two of them to another repair out in the over and and then have four mechanics to two and Martin and two one on the other one but one spare just in case one putting a sick note just cause a lot of buses you must just hang rookies and just say go smash them in something to break them constantly to 3 repair stations

My City Bus Manger is not working
You do know that would be cheaper instead of 169 if you go up top and take the two boxes off because you research them to the passengers might not have ultimate comfort On the Buses but the save you some money 169 to just a 1060 that or how much will probably cost if you just go open tick that box off😊
