There are several verses in the Bible that instruct disciples to be hospitable. In this video, we discuss the importance of practicing these commands and how they will make an impact in a world that's becoming less and less personal.
Hebrews 13:2 - Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
1 Peter 4:9 - Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.
1 Timothy 3:2 - Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

Beautiful!! I’m so glad you have experienced hospitality in a strange land. Warms my heart.
My parents supported a church plant in a low income area of our city. We children were naturally part of their support. There were a lot of difficulties in this little church, but hospitality was NOT one of them. These people who worked with low incomes were endlessly generous and hospitable, without expectation or pretension.
The we re-located to one of the wealthiest areas of our city. Some families were hospitable. Over the years we were invited to share a meal (not a 'dinner party') but three times, twice by the one couple (who were, incidentally quite wealthy)!
At the small church plant it was about twice a month!
