😲😲 you posted a video !!!! Yes its nice and cheap to live there. But the dilemma is always visas and income. Budgets also reflect lifestyle. I definitely would need a bike, and budget for nightlife and company :) Personally, i would stay 4-6 months there, and 4-6 months in my home country.
Good budget ideas. I have a retirement visa and upgraded insurance that costs $2,500 a year but same general ball park. I also include my storage unit back home for my calculations. I bought a new motorbike for 82,000 baht and I'll break even with renting at the 3 year point and still have a better motorbike... so I recommend that for people living here on a budget over renting.
i was living in thailand for 5 year about 10 years ago and yes i had my own motorbike and also i was traveling around and doing some activities and the cost it was 30 to 35.000 i can say that also i was making money at that time so i was wining even more money than i was spending so it was so good to live there, i think if you can work and make money its a extra, but living there with out work is a bit hard if you don't have income from your country, if you have income from your country then enjoy life, Martin do you think to come back to twitch?
Thanks for good informations , yes easy to save a lot of money cocking home western food and some Thai food too , markets have very fresh everything, vegetables and fruits ,
@@TheWalkingPineapple - Hi Martin, so are you getting paid now? I was shocked when I heard what happened to this channel, it's disgusting what YT did to you!!!
Great video Martin and the second budget certainly looks achievable even for pensioners from the UK like me. Pattaya had some great condos for 8,000 for example View Talay 1a and 1b. 🇹🇭🌞
I lived there for one and half year in cost of living 600-800$ and i am going back for sure to live permanently in the future but with more budget. You can live in 800 a month but if you can do more its way better
How do you afford to live in Thailand? Do you work? Also, how did you live 15 years in Thailand without being old enough for the retirement visa, and not being married for the spouse visa. FYI: I'm 62,retired, and my wife a I live a very good life (not cheap at all) in Phetchabun.

Nice informative video! I think i'd spend an average of 45k a month in Thailand, living on my own
thanks a lot! 45k is more realistic yeah
same
its a good thing that Thai people dont know it costs 2k USD per month to live there. They would all move
I was talking about a "western way" of living in Thailand

Thanks and very useful❤
Glad it was helpful! 😬
I assumed it was going to cost me about 3300.00 for a month without The initial airfare to get there.
❤
How does it cost the same as it does in the UK? The second budge is what I pay in the UK. This video can’t be right!
I love Thai food, but is expensive in the USA
Camera shaking all over the place. I think he's been on the scotch
$200 a day minimum unless you want live a feral life.
My health insurance alone costs 60k thb a year.
6 years in Thailand 400 to 500 a week is quite realistic 700 living like a King.
what city would you move to? where are you? I am thinking of selling my place in Texas and leaving the states. how is the weed?
