In the summer of 2023 I had begun hypothesizing a complete Gen 1 to 9 transfer guide, but lacked a few key ingredients. One of which was Pokemon Bank. And with the Nintendo e-shops only recently closed the hunt was on for a system pre-loaded with bak, transfer, and the Gen 1 & 2 virtual console games. After months of searching my quest finally concluded, with a eye-wateringly exorbitant price tag I managed to land my dream system and a bunch of games! One of which (Platinum) boasted a treasure trove of rare event mon, well over a decade in hiding!
Witht the inevitable close of Pokemon Bank looming, today I am going to show you how to transfer all of these event from generation 4 all the way to Gen 9!! Consider this step 1.5 in my master plan to get every mon from its proper generation into Pomemon Home.

I recently transferred my Pokemon from emerald all the way up to Gen 5. It took like 6 hours 😭

That's brutal! I think just to save myself a massive headache I'm going to transfer Gen 3 and 4 through the PC going forward.
