I love how nice the D2 community is to solo players, with guides like these to help make life a bit easier
As a solo player the community on the game not as good - they expect you to know what doing and have great guns when I cant as not able do dungeons and raids solo :(
A dumb mention: Quicksliver storm without the catalyst deals more damage than the strand version to unshielded enemy (unless the weekly surge is strand)
Catalyst is still worth it for the strand bomb tho
Another mention is Sunshot, works extremely well with Scorch / Ignite builds this season

btw, u can farm levi' catalyst in dungeons or lost sectors like e15, cause there are many mobs in groups in these places and levi' full damage is aoe, so about 7 times at max in e15 and that's all

You could just get exotic ciphers from xur and ascendant shards from high lvl content. Then mosey on over to the exotic vault thing so you can get both.

The catalyst is highly recommended for the witherhorde! Unfortunately, you need to delve into PvP to acquire said catalyst.

My fave exotic primaries are Osteo Striga, Ticuu's Bow, & Trinity Ghoul! For exotic special I like something like Coldheart or Jotunn! :🥰 Also now that Prometheus lens has scorch & we are in a solar artifact perk season it can be quite fun!!

Quicksilver storm is amazing. I wish they’d bring back black widow from D1
I ended up getting Last Word for a Solar hunter build I use in PvP and it's amazing. Lots of mobility and discipline combined with a kinetic reloader and I've been slaying in the Crucible. It works pretty well in PvE content too for the most part but definitely better in PvP.
should i buy these whenever i hit 1800? i’m currently 1776 struggling on how i should level up my character
I think that instead of thorn to go with Ace of Spades especially if the player plays pvp, ace is one of the best for crucible and Iron Banner

grand overture has only ever been banned on day ones due to bugs, not because it's "too good" it was banned for vow because it was doing 40% more damage than intended and was banned in ron because it was giving explosive payload weapons the blinding gl effect. you could use it on day 1 crota for example
oh and Touch of Malice is the best primary for dps now, a little fact checking would be much appreciated next time
@@Sunshine-ju2leit actually depends. If the crit on the boss is easy to hit, then The Final Warning actually out damages touch of malice by quite a bit. You can check many damage test videos about it but obviously final warning is a tad bit more situational than touch
Grand overture already put out more damage thunderlord. Doesn’t need a div bubble, currently is top 1 in damage between machine guns
@@magiickarma4460yes but in a fireteam the unravel effect doesn’t stack so only 1 person can get the maximum damage (like witherhoard)
That isn't why grand oveture has been banned in raids. It's an OK exotic, but the bans have always been about buggy interactions, not because it does too much damage.
I would like to add if a person has never played with JOTUNN, I just got it Saturday and I've been having a blast with it in The Crucible and in PVE. is it top tear? probably not , but it is fun!
Do you have the catalyst yet? I love using Jotunn to slow down (distract) the charge of waves with yellow bar enemies... 😻
@@JiraMelaj yes I do believe it or not I got it around 8:00 Saturday night and before 12:00 I had the Catalyst I do I did with it what I do was on my weapons I go to K1 Revelations and I run about 10 trips through it and that usually gets me the Catalyst for whatever I need unless of course it has to be done in The Crucible
Polaris lance is easily the best weapon for solo players doing end game content but it’s not listed?

For part 2, Wish Ender needs to be on your list, honestly shcoked it wasn't on this one but there is a lot to work with, so while I feel it was a miss to not put it, I do understand. Polaris Lance as well. Trinity Ghoul and Risk Runner should be considered. I'm assuming we're leaving Raid exotics off so I won't say Conditional Finality. Dragon's Breath definitely needs a mention.
Wish ender isn’t in the vault, you have to get it though shattered dungeon but I do agree it’s a need

If you can't get Legend of Acrius due to the pay wall of Spoils of Conquest, great alternative is Trinity Ghoul. With catalyst it is the easiest add clear monster to use.
they're not alternatives at all lol the only thing they have in common is arc damage. they're both great but they do completely different things
