That’s your parents job, not the Black community’s responsibility. When one parent is Black and the other is White, Red, Yellow or Brown, none of those groups are accepting you. As a reject from the none Black community, they have no choice but to reluctantly come to the African side, and most of the time, think they are doing us a favour, wanting front row seats, special treatment and all. We then wonder why the Black Race can’t go forward ! I will be clear though, that my view isn’t implying that this is always the case, as I have seen a great many mixed individuals being proud of their African ancestries and are always striving to do good for the race.
Why do we need to do that? You’re parents should have had those conversations with you.
