You could have tried to put the hinges on the inside and the reinforcement around the license plate to be integrated in the boot/trunk lid,how it is now looks kinda rough and will be more visible when the car will be painted.
hey doctor D.S. when are you going to resume your BMW pickup. I really think you're fantastic. i always watch all your episodes and more than once. greetings from the Netherlands. 😘🤠❄️🇳🇱
Professional work for a really great result, (now it remains to know how you are going to raise your rear bumper), can't wait to see the next episode ;-)
Coming along nicely, looking forward to how well it cleans up and paints after the bodywork done in next video! I have the same e46 and had the idea of doing this a few years back but never did. It's a late ery though low miles and in good condition, so partly as I didn't want to ruin a perfectly good daily driver but the idea if a BMW van or pickup always appealed to me! Good going!
This is really fun to watch as you progress in this project. Who knows maybe you will have inspired BMW to build their version of the famous El Camino of GM motors glory days.
It would have been eisier to cancel out the tail gate lights. Maybe a sealed plastic battery box. Just trying to keep your rig on the road longer. I like your build, keep up the good work.
Hi Dr D! I'm a huge fan! Any updates on the e36 pick up build? It's one of my favorites on you tube! Kind regards and heaps of respect; Zero Lash from South Africa 🇿🇦.
When I first came across this project I thought the end product could be extremely creative. But as it has progressed, the whole vehicle looks like its turning into a tank. Sure hope you’re going to replace the springs all the way around because it looks as though a huge amount of weight has already been added and it doesn’t look like you’re any where nearly done.
Hi Doc! It's been about 9 months since this episode... when are we going to see the finishing off and painting? And I'm sorry but those rubber tailgate fasteners look terrible. They stick out like a sore thumb and they are totally out of keeping with the rest of the car.

You are always doing something different on your videos and they are very cool stuff you work on good job 👍
Doc thank you for the comment you left me and thank you for the ❤ you gave me
Did you ever finish this car? I've not seen any more videos, I was enjoying seeing the progress you were making.
It would have been eisier to cancel out the tail gate lights.
Maybe a sealed plastic battery box. Just trying to keep your rig on the road longer.
I like your build, keep up the good work.
Very creative!! I'm impressed... Nice work!!!!
VERY homemade looking! Those thick steel plates makes it look like an old tank. I guess there are about 200 things I would have done differently ;)
Super Video und guter Job ,Daumen hoch wie immer.

When you finishing this pickup
Nice work Sir! 👍👍
Odličan video svaka čast samo naprijed
Mad Max style 😁😁
Really cool, I like it. Much better than any of the stupid "trucks"/ SUVs that BMW is making nowadays.

Yeeeessss Doctor finaly you put the video
Very good fabrication skills
Still awaiting the next episode!
one of a kind POS👍👍 #junk
Part 7????????!!!!!!
Should have used the rear seat belt latches on the tailgate, would be hidden and more functional.
The only thing I would do with this, is use it on destruction derby or use it for banger racing 😂🤣😂
Its too mutch work just to get it destroyed, but it would be cool to see it 😅😂
@@800TYM4TCHE5 even MUCH 😄

Pozdrav, morat ces neku gumu za izolaciju stavit oko dijela di su zadnje stopke zbog ulaska vode da elektronika ne bi otisla u pm.
I love it ...i am going to try on my e46 🙆😥
if only I had one I would try
Amazing skill...👍🏻
I ALSO WANT SUCH EL CAMINO, BUT I DONT HAVE ENOUGH PATIENCE)))
Ljep pošlic. Ali nije to taj put kako se to radi. Trebo si iz unutra staviti Winklovi da izgleda iz vana ko original i ne ko madmax :)
